Jings! I'm not usually the first! fasting today second of the week, second of three. Had the coffee and will survive on fluids , coffee and good old H2O till tea/dinner time. Managing fine combining fasting with full time work, so quite chuffed with myself. Hope this doesn't jinx it : :bugeyes:
Who else is with me today?
I am. It's my second too. Only coffee and water for me too. Two hours and 45 mins till dinner time but who's counting?

I'm in too, sipping a fruit tea, and wondering what to have for dinner (its only 7.30 AM) :clover:
I'm in. 745am here so at start of my day. Fluids only.
I'm in , going to be a tough one fo rme, been on holiday gluttony for 11 days' so body definitely needs this 'repair' day. Decided not to jump on the scales until I'm back on track after a few weeks. Tummy is grumbling already' but I've got a mountain of washing to do and post holiday sorting ' so hopefully that will occupy my mind. Good luck all x
Second fast after yesterday. I feel great, even with a little cold. For now I had only a fresh lemon juice and a black coffee half an hour after. Later I will have a mixture of apple cider vinegar and honey in hot water (help the digestive system).
I'm in, also on just coffee with skimmed milk and water until tonight. Good luck everyone :like:
I'm also just getting back into it after a whole week of Way Hey! I've been ravenous the last few days so desperately need a good fast today but I am starving already :frown:

Oh well time to dig into the will power reserves. Liquid only until tonight then see what I fancy. Spinach and mushroom omelette or prawn stir fry.

I'm in today. This will be my first double day fast. I woke up this morning feeling brill, so decided to try for 2 in a row. I may go over calorie wise for dinner though as its going to be takeaway for dinner. A kebab, being lamb its got to be well over, though if I go for a chicken one, I may still be able to polish my halo.
So far its been two big glasses of water and a mug of tea.
I'm in too!

Changing it up a bit as up until now I have saved my 500 calories, but I have football training 7-8pm and netball 8.30pm-9.30pm tonight so will unlikely want a big meal when I get back in, probably something light. So I'm trying to have some calories in the day, so I've just eaten 50cals of blueberries and have a 10calorie jelly. Will probably eat some chicken breast pieces by themselves before I go to.
Fasting today and hanging in there by my finger nails. Two cups of black coffee and plenty of water so far. It's only 11am and I'm famished! Surprised you can't hear my rumbly tumbly from there (wherever there is. Australia!).

This is unusual for me - usually the hunger pangs come and go and I find fasting fairly effortless till at least 3pm. I'm thinking this might have something to do with yesterday's blowout lunch with loads of carbs.

Got my green smoothie ready, so if I do cave, I'll go for that first. But trying very hard not to cave.

Julie, would love to know how doing two in a row goes. Is the 2nd day harder than doing them non-consecutively? (Is that even a word?!)

Right, off to find something else to distract me from old rumbly tumbly.

:smile: :starving: :lol: :geek: Im also in today. did one yesterday with no probs although I went to 570 instead of 500 due to a miscalculation of cottage cheese. Have to say I'm starving today, Ive had 25g cottage cheese, 50g bresaela and 10cal pot of jelly. Going to have a dukan bread wrap with bresaola and powder cheese (300 cals) around 5pm and then go for another 6mile run (did the same yesterday). I'm pretty hungry and sick going to the toilet though with so much fluid. I also feel slightly weak but need this fast today so that I can do my third Thursday. I'm out Friday and Sat and prob sunday so need to be in control the other days. Roll on 4.5 hours.

Point to note- got through my 6miles yesterday having had breaky and late lunch but I was hungry coming home
