Auriga wrote: I am 'in' today too....going to have bell pepper stuffed with four cherry tomatoes, a little Feta cheese, an olive or two & a drizzle of oil, cooked in the oven for 25 mins and served up with a watercress salad, but that's later! Bit peckish right now so getting some Earl Grey tea.

oh my, that sounds so delicious. i'm going to do that next week for my fast day too :like:

i just tried bovril to stave off hunger after loads of people recommended it as a low calorie snack. it has definitely distracted me, mainly because it was SO HORRIBLE!! :bigfrown:

Just wondering if any of you have puddings on fast day. I did ask this somewhere else but got ignored :-( so am hoping for response here!

Bean
Nursebean: I don't have puddings on fast days, except if I'm baking, when I lick the spoon (but not the bowl!).
Oh dear I wonder if I'm being foolish but I always allow enough calories so I can have a yoghurt or chocolate mousse or something similar. Tonight I've saved calories so I can have cornflakes and milk. Am I weird?

Bean
I'm with you Bean - I always save enough calories on a fast day for a treat with my cup of tea after dinner. Usually a couple of biscuits or sometimes an small square of dark chocolate and fresh raspberries.
Me too Bean, I usually have a Muller Light, an Activia or a Skinny Cow.

Busy, busy day which always makes a fast day go quicker. I must say my new steamer is good but cleaning the oven was such hard work (very dirty oven  ) that I'll have to finish it another day.
Wow! @Otter I'd love to have one small piece of chocolate...without eating the whole bar!! Glad I'm not alone, though...thanks

Bean
@ nursebean- Hi - I always have at least fruit, sometimes a WW fruit and jelly. Funny because I normally don't even like jelly but on fast days it seems to hit the spot and very low cals.
Sometimes I can justify a piece of dark chocolate. I have also found some Italian biscuits which are really hard and take ages to eat- they are expensive here but just one on a fast day! They have no added sugar, some honey though, and are about 25 cals. Well I like them  even though my OH thinks they are awful!
