I'm doing better than Monday. I've been really busy but a bit scatterbrained. lots of unnecessary driving around forgetting keys and not contacting people in time etc. I've got a big meeting here tonight about the coming state election and I need to think straight, have dinner ready in time and finished with so that the Meeting can start on time etc. Too much to do! Looking forward to fish and salad for dinner - go and pick lettuce!

I have had a similar day, so I am looking forward to a bit of cold chicken and salad for the evening meal.

Managed to put on only 500g over Christmas with another 500g New Year so I'm confident that a fast today with another couple next week will get me back on track before I go away on business again for a week on the 12th. In all honesty, with the business trip thrown into the mix, I've always thought that back to target weight for end Jan would be a good result :like:

I am in today but it may be shorter as I began my fast at 4:00PM yesterday, just after our huge lunch. Couldn't eat anything after that, felt stuffed, unwell, like drunk with food so didn't eat anything last night or since then. :wink:
I'm in today. Second this week I'm looking at holiday destinations and getting thoroughly excited about showing off my new bod.
I've been fasting today too but the day has just flown by and I'm only checking in now, after dinner. Had a real temptation cross my path this afternoon when I was at IKEA and they were selling freshly baked, still hot cinnamon scrolls. I was salivating at the delicious aroma wafting around their food store and just had to buy some (5 for A$3) and hubby ate one before we even left the store BUT guess what I did with the rest? Took them home and put them in the freezer! :cool: I shall enjoy one tomorrow (or maybe even two, we'll see!) with my coffee and ponder how wonderfully 5:2 has changed me and my life! :clover:

Nearly over, it went really quickly as I was out on a 4wd course and too stressed to think about food!! Luckily I booked a massage for tonight to unlock my neck!

OH Yes I'm in today willingly!!!! Need to repair some damage before my normal Fri weigh-in :shock: :shock: :shock:
I'm in. Repaired yesterday and planning same for today. Only 6 hours to go then I'll have a prawn salad, yesterday it was a smoked salmon salad and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Today I am packing two cases one for two nights with son and family in Glasgow and a very big one for a weeks skiing in the Dolomites next week. when I am skiing I usually don't have lunch as it makes me feel lethargic and bloated but we do have a sundowner in the last mountain cafe before home of one or three gluweins hic! Hope you all get back to your routines soon. I will be very tentative when I stand on the scales on the 13th Jan. I have managed through Christmas and New year still at my Maintainence weigh so a giant thanks to 5/2 other years I have put on 10lb. :grin: :lol: I did forget to mention that the hotel has 5course dinners and all the wine you can drink. :wink: :razz:
I've been thinking it's Monday all day until I read these posts! Looks like I'm doing Thursday this week then! Haven't done any fasting for a while and after Christmas and new year I feel so uncomfortable - it's a pleasure to not eat today! So far so good, have followed everyone's advice this time and not eaten anything for Breakfast and just a low cal soup for lunch. Will have a meal early evening. Can't decide on whether to do 2 days together or not? Some people seem to do that don't they. :?:
