Popular place today. I am in for my usual Wednesday fast too. Good luck all, hope it's easy for you :like: :clover: :like: :clover:
I'm in today. Only managed to fast til 4pm on Monday so I really need to stick to this fast to get me back on the straight and narrow. I didn't weigh in last Saturday as I totally lost track of days (school hols). I've not done a full fast since Friday. Chuck all the chocolate into the mix that I've eaten this last week and I have to say I'm a little worried about weigh in on Saturday :( . What will be will be, just got to keep plodding on with it. Have a good fastday everyone :)

I'm in again today. Feeling a bit rebellious at the moment and treated myself to a mocha this morning. And, no, I'm not going to add it to my calorie quota  I'm gonna throw caution to the wind!

Tonight I'm having chicken and asparagus risotto, care of Monsieurs Marks & Spencer (of course!). Bought a few more Count on Us meals today as you could get 3 for £8! Plus some of them are reduced today because of the use by date...but you can freeze them, so bargain!

Good luck all you fasters out there!

Bean :starving:
 Hi all .... I'm fasting today ..... I usually fast Mondays / Thursdays but as I am out for a meal tomorrow night with relatives, I'm fasting today instead. I have been busy all day so todays fasting has been a breeze compared with Bank Holiday Monday earlier this week  which was a bit hairy in places

Good luck to all you fellow fasters today :clover: ... Hope your day has gone as easily as mine :like:

My fasting meal which I eat at as near as 6pm as possible, will consist of the same as usual ... Heinz Chicken Big Soup & steamed veggies. I eat nothing all day, but drink lots, & have my one meal of the day at 6pm & I might have a 10 calorie jelly later on this evening along with a Cadburys Highlights
Back on the bandwagon after a few false starts. Stopped eating at 8p yesterday, feeling fine and not yet hungry a little after noon. Treated myself to some nice key lime tea at a new tea place, tasty with no milk or sweetener. Not sure what's dinner, aiming for after 6. It will likely include green beans and the package of Shiratake noodles that have been in the fridge for a while. Good luck everyone else!
Have got M and S 360cal meal in oven. Have finished online course, done a bit more on the front garden, and now sitting with cooking smells wafting from the oven ... :dazed: :starving:
Confession time!!!! I broke yet another fast, this is not going well. I was ok all day then at about 6 it all went wrong. I had 2 toast with butter then some left over curry from last nights dinner. Why do I keep undoing all I've done? Whenever I over indulge or have time off (like xmas and now easter) I find it so hard to stick to again and I talk myself out of fasting. Today should have been a good solid fast to get me back on track and now I'm probably looking at a gain on Saturday :( I can't fast tomorrow so it will have to be Friday now. I really need to get control of this. :(

Hi Dee, Sorry I'm not sure how to tag people but just wanted to say Sorry it's not worked out for you today, tomorrow (or whenever fits in with you)you is another day and a fresh slate. Don't waste energy beating yourself up, we all have wobbles and to err is only human. If today wasn't your day for a strict fast then another day will be.

It's been a funny one for me today, I'm 13 weeks in and it's the first fast where I've felt no hunger at any point, sounds stupid but I missed it. Didn't get my usual buzz and struggled with exercise, sort of feel like it hasn't worked although I've only clocked up 450 calories. Sigh.

Hope you are all bearing up well fellow fasters! X :clover:
Hi all,
I have been fasting all day but too busy to post my usual hourly comments about how hungry I am  @Charliecook, can I have some of what you are on, so I dont feel the hunger either. I have made it through the day and its now bed time. @Justdee, sounds like you had a super 16:8 eating window day! :like:
Hallelujah!! I did it! My first PROPER, no pretend fast. I did a few before but I reckon I sneaked a few extra calories in, maybe just 100 or so more but today no way. Well below my fasting amount considering my tdee.

These daily threads are so motivating and inspiring. Thank you.

Anyway, a bit of blah from me. I've been feeling a bit down lately because it is my birthday soon and I am well and truly in my thirties (happy to have got there though) but I have been gaining weight and this is my heaviest yet. My BMI is 29 and I know that's not too bad but really I know the only way is up (without effort). My mum followed this path and just kept on going and is a wee bit stuck up there :( So genetically I am predisposed. My clothes don't fit, I am constantly uncomfortable fitting into clothes too small and refusing to go a size up (again) but now I have given myself some hope that I can change the future (and hopefully my mum's too) x
Well the day is nearly ended and yet another successful fast is under my belt...apart from the invisible mocha of course

Looking forward to food tomorrow, oh and a new haircut!

Are you still considering going pink @nursebean or have I missed that? what style are you going for tomorrow?

ROFL @nursebean  I must get the recepie! I have one for calorie free toast and butter  though only for feed days. Hsppy haircut.
@Debsie, happy nearly birthday. I wish I was in my 30s again. I just left them behind 3 months ago *sigh and look fondly at my young and single days* Mind you, I dont mind my age, once I look a bit younger than my age. Thats what this woe us doing for me.
I've fasted today - first time for a few weeks. I have gained a few pounds over my target weight but nothing too serious. Due to over-indulging and having family to stay, I should think. It won't take long to get back to where I should be!
Well done to all of you who have fasted successfully today and, if your fast was not so good, then there's always another day!
Just woke up! I wish i could bottle and sell the slim, bloat free feeling of waking up after a good fast day.Congratulations on your first proper fast day achieved @debsie! It will hopefully only get easier and you'll be feeling slimmer, healthier and happier soon.
Please don't be so hard on yourself @justdee, you're human and it will happen for you soon. Just keep trying.
