Me too Lil, noly on my second week, am finding myself a bit light headed and dizzy on fast days - does this pass? :?:
I'm fasting today, I've just had lunch which is unusual on a fast day but my husband and the kids were all home so I decided to have lunch with them, I just had a veggie stirfry with a small piece of tofu so I'll be able to have some dinner later.

Good luck everyone!
Also off on holiday tomorrow with no intention of fasting- but not sure whether today will turn into 16:8 .i'll decide a bit nearer dinner time.
I'm in today, second of the week and feeling good. I am sure I will make it to 7.30 tonight unless somebody wafts a cream meringue under my nose. Hope you all have a good easy fast day. Kate W11it does get easier just hang in there.

It definitely does get easier. I find that today is probably one of my bad days. I've had very little sleep the last couple of days and it's making me foggy and dizzy and generally feel unwell. All I want to do is plug my energy gap but IO have back water to try and fill the hole. I'm not feeling any better and just wish this day was over.

I didn't go til dinner and had 3 slices of salami and 2 slices of cheese at 1pm (I've been up since 530am) and I intend to have a few crab sticks and quark cheese for dinner. I might be about 600 cals today but considering how difficult I have found it and how sick I feel I'm not going to beat myself up. I've also had to cancel my usual 6mile run (for 2nd day in a row) due to this lack of sleep. I'm not particularly over hungry- more lacking energy.
Fasting for me too today. I only managed one fast day last week - but am hopefully back on track again.

The weather here has been awful! (East Coast of England) So cold and grey.

I had porridge for breakfast - really warming, comforting and pleasantly filling!

More comfort food for me tonight. A tasty casserole. But not for an hour or so!

I've tried to keep myself busy today - did some shopping at the supermarket - I thought I'd find it difficult but I have started doing my main shop on a fast day!

I have also been knitting, knitting and knitting! It keeps the hands and the mind occupied!

I am already planning what I will eat tomorrow! Definitely curry! And Mum brought me some homemade pancakes - she didn't realise it is a fast day - I have popped them in the fridge until tomorrow.....Sometimes n a fast day I really have to focus on the fact that I will get to eat 'normally' the next day!
Hello all

I'm fasting today, also did sunday so if I can get through today ok I'll be done for the week.

I've not been on here for AGES due to really busy time at work, husband being home during the week now (so I don't come on here on an evening so much) and the computer deciding not to work when I do get chance to come on. I've missed catching up with everyone, but I'm still here and still plugging away!

With my busy time at work, I decided to have a week or so off from fasting but I managed not to put any weight on, and now I've got one fast done this week and another one nearly done I feel I'm back on track. I think it did me and my body good to give the fasting a rest for a while.

Absolutely ravenous now - think it'll be an omelette with the last of the courgettes from the garden for dinner.
Yes I'm in today. I hit the shops to get ingredients for pickling onions, xmas cake, mincemeat etc. I've just done the pickled onions and put together the mincemeat ready to cook tomorrow. I must be mad but it keeps me busy in kitchen and even though I'm around food it's not bothering me.
Oh yeah, when pickling do not stand too near the pan. I forgot and totally burnt my eyes out!! :dazed:

I know some people will be thinking, crikey crimbo stuff, I just felt like getting organised this year instead of the usual race against time and doing the supermarket trolley dash  haha
