I'm fasting today too, second fast of the week.
Finding it very hard going at the moment. Also I haven't weighed and recorded it for a while as I don't want to hear any bad news. My sister came over yesterday with a massive box of chocolates she forgot to give me over Xmas aaarrggh!
I'm on my Maintenance Diet so that means one day a week fasting.

Today is my fast day : no breakfast ( as I am never hungry then) ; a Waitrose take-away, calorie-counted lunch (259 calories); and for my evening meal I will have soup.

At bedtime I have my chocolate drink treat (around 40 calories).

I am really pleased to be maintaining my ideal weight within a pound, even though I enjoyed Christmas and the New Year!

It can be done!!
I'm in today and almost made it! I had porridge for lunch and will have mushrooms on toast for tea then early to bed with a good book to silence my tummy! That'll be my 2nd fast of the week done! Woohooo!!! I always feel a bit smug on Wednesday nights when the fasts are done- is it just me? LOL :)
I'm feeling proud of myself managing an extra fast day that has gone really well but having an aromatherapy massage today also helped  & now only another hour before supper time.
 Yes, I find fasting makes me feel quite virtuous too! Can you see my halo from where you are?
Wow today has been the easiest fast in ages and I wasn't even expecting to do it! Monday's was hard work as it was the first proper one in a couple of weeks but today I just haven't felt hungry hardly at all. I had 3 thin oatcakes (100 cal) at around 3pm just really cos I wanted them and to stop me wanting to chew off my own arm by now (5.30pm).

Veggie frittata with some bacon in for dins - add some potato wedges for him.

This is all too suspiciously easy....
Yes, the glare is quite blinding @callyanna even over here in Canada :sun: 8-) :sun:
I feel quite virtuous too, the day after a fast...which I am doing today. I used to always need to have 2 meals a day to get through, but now find I can easily go all day with just tea and have my 500 cal at supper.

Good luck, fellow fasters :clover:  :clover:
Today I'm doing my first full fast for about 3 weeks and I can say it's been a really easy one. I was a little worried I would find it really difficult but I've not felt hungry all day. I had a gorgeous steak and loads of veg at about 7pm and I've still got cals left for a hot choc later. So pleased I'm back on track.:) roll on next fast (friday) :)

Hi, i'm in today and doing double duty as I'm prepping for a medical test tomorrow and am fasting and drinking clear liquids all day. I'm not nearly as worried about it since I've been fasting for several weeks now.
My first day today was doing ok then this evening felt so hungry so had about 8 Special K crisps :(
Really struggled but made it through - I dont think not having breakfast suits me so will need to keep this in mind

Just wondering if there is anywhere on the site that there are recipes & ideas for low cal things that we / me could get imspirtaion from like Juliannas stir fry?
