I'm in today on the DODO challenge. My 4th fast since last Thursday. Wooo! It comes around relentlessly. Today I woke up hungry so I have had a black coffee, a very thin slice of sourdough toast and some cooked tomatoes. That has satisfied. No weight loss so far. And I won't try on the small jeans until the end of the challenge. Today I have friend coming over this afternoon to work on a community tapestry project we are both involved with, so that will take up my attention. Looking froward to seeing other DODO s here later.
I'm in for a fast on the DODO challenge, too, @Sallyo! These days non-fast days are harder than fast days, but I still like to come to these threads…

I'm on my second coffee already. I'm looking forward to chicken korma tonight. It's been in the freezer for awhile...
How wonderful to have two DODOs start today's fast!! Well done you two. I'm really impressed by how you've grabbed this challenge by the horns.
I will of course be joining you today although it's only 04:30 here ( don't know why I'm awake!) so I haven't even had my first green tea!
Have a great fast everyone xx
Another DODO in for another fast. I'm half way through as I started DODOing on 1st April! doesn't time fly when you're enjoying yourself? Eh, nope! It's hard work but working towards the benefits.
Ususal nowt to eat until Tea time then poached eggs and toast.
Good luck fellow fasters and DODOers
:clover:
DODO reporting in for my fourth fast since returning from holiday, usually find weds harder for some reason, kept away from carbs last night, a spoonful of tuna pasta salad and some salted cashews. Hoping that helps.
Got a small salad with some more tuna pasta salad, to keep me going today till dinner. Loving these salad days,
Morning all!

I'm with you today for DODO fast #5. Off for a walk in half an hour - hoping I can walk off some of yesterday's excesses....plural! What is it with non-fast days???

Here's hoping it goes well for all of us - have a good one!
I'm on my second fast of this week and seriously considering doing Friday as well. I only managed one fast last week and haven't lost any weight for 2 weeks. I've been busy in the garden, 3 to 4 hours most days so I'm not exactly inactive but my weight doesn't seem to be shifting in the way I'd like. I don't go mad on my non-fast days and count calories using MFP. I really need to lose about 15kg so I'm in for the long haul.
The sun is past the yard arm; it is dusk and I am getting ready the minestrone which I will have with some bread. Had an apple around 3pm, with some nuts. It helped. It is apple season here so I think I will try to get into that habit on fast days. I am ready for a big bowl of soup now.
Super busy day at work followed by a bums and bellies class tonight made for a fast day that whizzed by. Had an apple on the way to the gym and have just wolfed down a rocket fig prosciutto salad for dinner. Early start tomorrow got to be out of the house by 6.10 for a breakfast meeting. Am finding the DODO fine atm but think this weekend will challenge me. Happy fasting all you northern hemisphere peeps.
Regular Wednesday 4:3...
You know that I struggled tremendously due to the thyroid problem with no result at all more than I gained a total of 4kg (8lb) . But after seeing that number on the scale I made the decision - enough is enough and managed Monday under my 500kcal. Is fasting today too and the plan is to do at least a fast during the day on Friday and don't overeat or drink ;o
But right now I am so d-d HUNGRY!!!
I feel your pain @Wolfie. Thank God I am at the other end of the day and I can go to bed and wake up and have a proper breakfast. I'm not sure I can do this.
Hang in there girls - you can do it - tomorrow everything will look different!!
I am also here from DODO tent - so far so good. I have had most of my cals already (probably about 350), as I could not resist a small bowl of my lentil and carrot stew and I found a little bag of bite sized carrots in my hand bag and thought "they don't count" (psssst they DO....really). So I will just nibble at DHs cooked meal tonight and eat the left overs tomorrow.

Good Luck
Come on everyone, were nearly there. Well soon be munching...hoorah!!
Hey, @nursebean, I'M not nearly there!
I'm back to doing 5:2 (from my now standard 6:1) to combat a small gain. And dinner is still about 8 hours away.
The only problem with this Wednesday fast is that I do really need to go to the grocery store. Not an easy job whilst fasting :frown:
