Friday 23rd May fasting today
23 May 2014, 05:01
Wading into the new look forum, wishing fellow fasters all success today.
Whatever the forum looks like and however it functions won't change the WOE. I am fine with that and looking forward to feeling pleased tomorrow. :clover:
(I expect to find my way round eventually on the forum, but although I can "take" new things readily, this one makes tough demands on my time. I have no idea how to post this for today - am I the first? If not where is everyone else? I'm lost and no doubt will be making forum mistakes.)
Hi Katharina I'm in with you today. It's the 3rd of 3 for me today, hoping for a really good fastday as I will be on 16:8 for a week after today and I'm not sure how that's going to work out for me. Just packed daughter off on a school trip to Barcelona, wish I was going with her. Last night I slept much better than I have all week and feel ready to face the day. Good luck everyone, hope it's an easy fastday for us all. :)
I'm in today for my last one of the week. My boyfriend arrives tomorrow morning for a week so I'm not too sure how much fasting will go on next week lol. I've had an interesting week weight wise, it has stayed pretty much the same weight all week...I've NEVER experienced that before.
Have a great week with bf @daydreamer21. Is it half term next week in uk or just bank holiday? Strange the same thing happened with my weight this week, went up exactly 1lb after nonfastday and back down to saturdays(wi day) weight after fasdays, except today, today after nonfastday I weigh the same as last weigh in so got fingers crossed for a lb or more loss tomorrow. Good luck hun :)
I'm in! Also getting used to the new format here.]Happy fasting everyone xxx
Have agood day fasting folks! X
Yeh @justdee it's half term in the uk next week
Ooh that was good, for the first time when clicking on tag, the yellow banner didnt promptly cover up my words! :like:
Oh it just has now tho, when i clicked on the thumbs up  xxx
I think I am in today. I have already done 2 fasts this week, but considering doing a 3rd today. I have gained 1lb over the last 2 weeks despite eating well, tracking my cals, weighing food and staying below my tdee  So, I'm wondering if a 3rd fast will help. Thing is, I am starting to feel like I am full time dieting, which is just what this WOE is not supposed to be.
Hello Friday fasters. I'm also in having yesterday gone with a friend shopping in Chichester to find my Mother of the Groom outfit to wear in early September. Still lots more weight to lose but now I can get my new dress & jacket taken in to fit the hopefully even slimmer me by August. Lunching out yesterday & eating pasta with a glass of wine & a fast is much needed today if I am to have lost any weight when I weigh in tomorrow.
I hope you all have a good fast today  I am taking a just in case banana with me to my history class but hope I can manage without until supper tonight!
I'm in, for fast number three of three! I decided to do three fasts this week because my daughter and two grandaughters are coming back from Germany for the half term holiday and fasting is not really very practical with them around.

I'm supposed to be maintaining, so am trying to get below my target weight of ten stone seven before I set off on a fourteen-day cruise to Norway and Iceland on June 22nd. I know what will happen to my weight while I'm away, so thought that if I could give myself a little leeway, it would be a good thing, especially as I had regained a few pounds when visiting my other daughter in Madrid last week! :frown:

Good luck to all fasting today. :clover: Keep busy and keep hydrated! Hunger pangs will pass! Onwards and downwards! :victory:
Thanks @candicemarie, yeah!! I get to spend the week with my nephew without school getting in the way. Didn't realize I'd booked my trip for half term week. :)
@Isis haha I read you went shopping for a grooms outfit for your mother haha, I thought anything possible these days.
Wow, I'm enviable of you lot! Between shopping, lunches out, cruises and visitors. Sounds like you are all having a terrific time.

Today l voted in the European Parliament elections and also our local elections. Then I bought a mop. Hmmmmm, anyone of you want to switch lives? @Stowgateresident, I would LOVE that cruise. I always said that I could stop diving when I have seen a narwal. Nice to know that I am not the only one on the 3rd fast. It is eadier than a 2 day back to back.

Lunchtime now and I'm having a coffee with a little skimmed milk before I take the new mop for a test drive. Then I shall go to the ball :?:
Second fast of the week and I finally feel as if I'm back in the groove after my operation. I may go all out for ADF for a while just to kick start me back under my lowest weight back before Christmas. Liquids only today which does include approximately 100kcals for milk..
Groan, I'm starvin. Just planning my dinner. Fridays is pizza and chips (fries) in my house and I was wondering if I would fail here. So I have decided to flatten a chicken breast and use it as a type of pizza base with tinned tomatoes, herbs and veggies on top. That still leaves a few cals for a few chips. I think thats doable for me. I dont get to miss out on the family meal!
@scubachickjust think of all the calories you'll burn using your lovely new mop. and I like the sound of the chicken pizza, might have to try that. Then again you could have said you were making a pizza using cardboard and I probably would have liked the sound of that too. It's getting late in the day now and I have to wait until 8:30 for dinner as daughter is not back from school trip until then. I'm sooo hungry now :(
@scubachick have you tried the cauliflower base pizza. It does have a fair bit of cheese, which can be reduced or low fat swapped out. But it is VERY tasty and very filling.
