I'm in today. So far had a couple of cracker biscuits and a coffee. ( with almond milk and stevia). Having spinach gnocchi tonight with carrot and courgette. I've already dropped half of the 3lb I gained last week so onwards and downwards (LOL)
I'm in its 5pm so I only have another 2 hours to go then I can have dinner. Yum yum. Hope you all have a good day.
Stay strong, @Janpartly! Not long until it's time to eat! Like you, @Nessie, I shall be ready for dinner tonight, too!
Well, whether I wanted to or not, actually I wanted to, I have fasted today because it was dedicated to me, many thanks Lizbean. Not too long now and all going well. I always enjoy either a full fast or a light day on Mondays because I usually eat and drink too, too much over the weekends. I have had a yoghurt so far and feel fine, perhaps a little piece of cheese later, perhaps not. Hope you've all had a successful day

I'm in today! 2 marmite rice cakes with almond butter for breakie, melon and blueberry pot for lunch, sweet potato with salad and tuna for supper.

Best of luck of everyone xx
Thanks stowegate resident i managed to wait and have just had fresh haddock and peas  i'm full now
I'm in today, early yet here on west coast US (11am). Just feeling a bit hungry now, time for some tea. Usually make it to late afternoon with a bit of veggie broth later on. This is my #12 fast day; I keep a little paper diary to keep track of what works and what doesn't (for me). For example, I had always thought that the "hunger" I feel about 10:30am most days meant I needed to eat--NOW! But if I have some tea and wait a bit, it passes. I don't get sick or light-headed, so it's fine. If I did, I'd eat. I don't need 500cals at once for dinner (and as an owl, go to bed midnightish on work days, so eat pretty late), so like to use about 200 in late afternoon, then have a protein (non-meat, as I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian)/veggie feast late. If I'm careful (no cheese except for a bit of parmesan, minimal oil), I can get quite a bit of food for that. It helps I don't necessarily need to cook for anyone else but the cats on fast days.
Can't believe I have made it to 7:15pm without a bit to eat! 2 black coffees, a green tea and lots and lots of water and I actually feel pretty good... dinner is in the oven though!

Hope everyone else has had/is having a successful day!
I had a lovely big salad with 2 hard boiled eggs (I'm vegetarian) and a fat-free yogurt and blueberries, yum! Good luck to you all still fasting on another continent :)
Just made myself a massive plate of mixed veg with two soft boiled eggs and a dash of balsamic vinegar after not eating all day. Sat down all excited to munch my way through it and only managed a third!

What has happened to me!? I feel bad for wasting the food but I know I shouldn't force it down...this is good really, normally I'll happily eat every last morsel.

Hope your days have all gone well!
My day is nearly done. I had bacon-wrapped (just one rasher) chicken breast , two new potatoes and lots of sprouting broccoli and carrots at 7.30pm. Having just finished a (very sedate) toning DVD from the 90's, I have eaten 100g of natural full-fat yoghurt with 40g of blueberries - as a reward. I don't count calories any more but find that I still need to weigh foods that I am not so familiar with in order to make sure that I am not going too far over my 500.
Stay strong those of you who are still fasting. Onwards and downwards!
I've had my dinner and I'm still hungry. This is where going liquid only fasting helps me, as long as I don't start eating I tend to be able to ignore the hunger pangs. But as soon as I eat the hunger monster takes over. Only and hour till bed time.
Hello - I opened todays fast thread and I'm reflecting on the great conversations I see have taken take place now that I'm home from work. On Sunday eve I read @Ballerina 's journey and then went to find today's fast thread as that is key to our journey. Both those element seemed to me to fit, our motivation and learning - hence the ode to Ballerina or any of our fabulous members moments. It grabbed me and felt right

The wonderful part of our community is we can experiment (within the guidance) and be creative and exciting and see what works and what does not - while recognising the amazing people who are committed to help keep us on track - our ultimate goal of good health, wellbeing and happiness.

I wonder if a' seasonal changes tent' would be helpful? - as many of us feel it.

bugeyes:   I'm officially bug eyed, end of a long day and time for sleep.
Lizbean

Buddy @spanner - coming your way shortly.
Thanks@Lizbean, you're so right about the journey we all take even within the discussions on one fasting day. I learn something new each time I visit the daily fasting thread.
Happy to have made it through today with a minimum of fuss, looking forward to tomorrow. Hope you all have a great week. Be well.
