I find I manage on Lady Grey Tea or Jasmine Tea. I tend to make them quite mild as I don't like black tea. A lot of companies will send you samples if you want to try some different ones.

I too hate tap water but find it can be bearable if you chill it. I have a Brita Water filter jug that goes in the fridge, so I filter the water then pour it in a glass with slices of lemon or lime. Sometimes I add some ice if I've forgotten to refill the jug in time.

Some days I resort to the diet drinks. I don't have a sweet tooth so I'm not someone who has ever found it makes me crave sugar. Savoury has always been my downfall :)

And so do I - buckets of it - but I usually add a bit (no more than a tablespoonful) of cranberry juice or lemonade. Technically it's not calorie-free, but I find that it's worth a few calories to have a drink that I'm really enjoying.
An alternative to an evening hot chocolate I've tried just this evening. 200mls almond milk (28 cals), a small teasp of cocoa powder, mix with some warm milk, then add to the cup of milk, add sweetener to taste, and microwave - don't boil. A rich tasting low calorie drink.
I love rooibos tea, so I drink plenty of that. If i want something savoury I drink a teaspoon of marmite or miso in hot water, and if I want something sweet it's a diet coke, but otherwise I drink water.
With fruit teas you need to let them steep for ages. 5 minutes is a good time. I make mine, give it a good stir, and put the saucer on top to keep the heat in and come back to it in 5 minutes. Its usually got a decent flavour by then.

Savoury is usually beef stock cubes, especially if I feel a headache coming on.
Cheap sparkling water with about a teaspoon to a tablespoon of lemon juice is my other standby, especially if I'm out. A wedge or slice of lemon makes it look special.
I can't survive withouy my coffee with skimmed milk. I also like Bovril and if it is warm no sugar squash. I've tried herbal/fruit teas but don't like them-but I don't drink ordinary tea either. Don't like chocolate flavoured drinks either.
Black coffee with a sweetener and a dash of cinnamon is lush. M&S raspberry & strawberry tea packs a mean punch and has a stronger flavour than a lot of fruit teas I've tried. Can't stand the smokey taste of rooiboos tea personally but love green tea. Fizzy water does it for me most of the time, to be honest....
It's still pretty warm here so I drink a lot of sparkling water with shikwasa, Okinawan lime. I like free tea. I find that spicy apple ones tend to have a stronger flavor. My latest favorite is white pear and ginger. It's lovely.
I like Propel, fizzy water, mandarin orange green tea, peppermint tea, iced tea w/splenda, Crystal Light or Diet Mt Dew occasionally. I don't keep the Dt Dew in the house because I wouldn't drink anything else if it was always an option. I buy one when I am out a few times a week. I sometimes use the flavor packs you add to a bottle of water.. Some have splenda and some aspartame. I like the propel, pink lemonade and any brand of the kiwi strawberry flavor. I recently found some Mio type water flavoring on sale and picked up a couple.
Also Miso-Cup by Edward and Sons. I made my husband a sandwich and tortilla chips for lunch, and was not even envious as I sipped my lunch, an instant cup of miso soup. 35 tasty calories. The funny part is that I enjoyed this very same product when it first came out in the late '70s. Hadn't had it for decades and rediscovered it just recently.
Here's a link I found on Pinterest a while back for DIY Mio refills. They are really convenient to slip in your purse and use to flavor a water bottle or maybe even into a glass of water at a restaurant. I sure hate paying $2 or $2.50 for a soda!!

I do a lot of sparkling water, black coffee and mint tea (iced or hot) :-)
3 things i cannot be without

1) good expresso coffee, preferably from beans just ground in your grinder
2) Soda water very cold, with a dash of freshly squeezed lemon juice (lemons are a diet aid)
3) Almond milk (so good brand, with the sugar left in thankx! . ive tried the others but never found anything i like other than an Italian brand WW decided to remove from the shelves a few years ago :curse:
What country are you in? Might make a difference on what is available to you. My fast day consists of:

-about 20 oz Brita filtered water as soon as I get up, I just chugg it (do this every day actually)
-20 oz mug of Tazo and Roobius Chai mix, with stevia and splash of coconut creamer, before I leave for work, then sometimes make another in travel mug
-sometimes around 10:00 I make a Wild orange tea with stevia if I want it warm, or Tazo Passion if wanting something on ice...both sweetened with stevia
-at lunch I have a Herb Ox beef broth and a Zevia cola...sometimes I hit the beef broth buffet a second time
-mid afternoon I have a chocolate tea to stem my sweet chocolate craving
-water with dinner
-another 20 oz mug of chai for after dinner
