Feeling uncomfortably full now after having my dinner (bout 440 cals) but found fast today very easy and wasnt really hungry at all, think I should have just had soup, maybe some days you just don't need so much eh!

I read the comments on feeling cold, but it is cold!

I can't face outside today as it's too cold!

Made it through another fast day, my 14th! I've always had very low will-power to resist temptation, so I can't believe I've got this far without cracking once! It's lovely to go off to bed feeling proud of myself for sticking to it. And tomorrow I can eat what I want!

So cross - just had dinner and just remembered I needed to get rubbing alcohol (whatever that is) for an experiment at work so now got to go to Asda pharmacy in the cold. I suppose the plus side is that I can buy something scrummy for breakfast & lunch for tomorrow, but think this could be more like torture on a fast day as it'll have to be put away til the morning. Hmmm. Oh well. Off to brave the cold - hope they've got some of the stuff!!

Hi
Just getting to the end of my 7th Fast day, I have been really busy and the day went by really quickly.
Two new Fast day solutions today, I added some Slim Rice to my homemade soup at lunch time (14.30) and although the texture is a bit odd it was not unpleasant and added some bulk to an already thick soup.
And tonight I did a big stir fry for me and my Husband, using left over lean beef, a homemade sauce and mountains of veg including Bean Sprouts.
I think I may have overdone it a bit at dinner, but because I burnt 230 calories on the Cross Trainer, I think I can allow myself a half cup of low cal hot chocolate at bedtime.

Back on Thursday
:P

Well, back from Asda. Apparently 'rubbing alcohol' means surgical spirit (??) Hope this experiment works!

Anyway - more importantly! Smoked salmon, cream cheese and multigrain bagel purchased for breakfast tomorrow!! Yum yum. Might have to go to bed NOW so morning comes quickly :)

Hi everyone
I have been "lurking" for a while now, I thought it about time that I posted.

Week four for me. I love this part of the day, nearly time for bed, feeling pleased to have completed another fast day and looking forward to tomorrow!

Well, best laid plans and all that!!

Was planning on making soup for dinner but ended up going to the pub to see a friend who has just come out of hospital.

So nothing to eat until a cuppa soup at about half 5, then 3 white wine spritzers (!!) and just had a couple of poached eggs on toast.

All in all around 700 calories so not idea but not the end of the world!! Will do better on Friday - promise!!

Well, I've survived my third fasting day. It was the toughest yet and I ate 500 cals instead of 400 but I got through it which is the main thing. The scales are looking really good - chuffed!
