2nd fast today and it's been ok. I had planned to fast yesterday but went to meeting where lunch was provided and ... I couldn't refuse a free lunch! I tried not having any breakfast or lunch today and its been manageable. Hunger pangs have come in waves but have gone again. I've drunk herbal tea and water. Fasting again on Thursday. It's been so good to read everyone's posts. Thanks everyone.

Made it to dinner time ! Just a 60 cal bowl of soup about 2PM, then a huge plate of Waitrose Love life Chicken Casserole and mixed steamed veg. 40 cals left for my bedtime Hot Chocolate.

Good luck to tomorrow's Fasters :grin:

I also lasted until dinner time and only had water all day, I was surprised to find I wasn't watching the clock for an hour before I was due to eat like I normally am! I really wasn't hungry although I enjoyed my meal, I hope Thursday's fast is this easy!

Bit disillusioned as I seem to be losing and regaining the same few Ibs all the time. Loath to record it on the tracker as it's just up and down all the time! Maybe I need to take a closer look at what I ate on non-fast days. Still, on what is (I think) my 14th fast, a bit dissapointing. I will certainly continue with fingers crossed as I actually am enjoying the fast days lately.

Same here ! Off then back on .still not gaining and can be pretty bad at weekends. Will update tracker this weekend even if back on.

Well - lack of food was the least of my worries today. Tuesday is always my least favourite day at school, but those 6th Formers REALLY drove me bonkers this morning! Lucky I was on a fast day really, otherwise I'd have stuffed my face like a real pig until every biscuit in the place was gone, gone, gone. But....

....I stuck with it!

Black redbush tea and coffee during the morning and afternoon - zero cals
Mug of hot Bovril with 2 sticks celery for dipping (cut into batons) - 15 cal
Chicken and salad for dinner - 330 cal
Shape choc dessert pot - 109 cal
TOTAL = 454

Plenty more cups of tea to drink before bed time I think! :D

Feeling pretty full after my only calories of the day: small chicken breast poached in white wine with a tray of roasted veg (aubergine, courgette, red pepper, fennel, red onion, carrot, cherry tomatoes) tossed in a little pesto. A little over the 500 but hey tasted fantastic!
