Fasting today Wednesday 20th

My second fast day for the week and on my 7th week. Weight loss now stuck but still very impressed with overall weight loss. Good luck all you Wednesday fasters.

Hallo, I'm doing 1000 cals today as part of a 4:3ish week. Just measured my waist and it's down 1inch this month so hurrah however my weight is up to 75.7kgs so boo! I hope it's just my body is rearranging the deckchairs on deck with a view to chucking a few overboard ... Breakfast is a few nuts and black coffee, about 160 cals.

6th fast day for me today - bring it on!
2nd fast for me today. I would have liked to have done it tomorrow or Friday but have things on which involve eating both evenings. Saturday and Sunday we have family birthdays, so will be eating out both days.
Fast days pass very quickly for me normally.
Off to Zumba now.
Have a good one....hopefully a pound off this week making it sooo worth it.

Also going to try and fast tomorrow as I have a busy weekend which might involve a bit of food (normally fast on a Thursday and Sunday)

Next fast after tomorrow will be Monday

All prepared with a snack of mangetout, sugar snap peas, and asparagus tips (50g of each) total calories 48, which leaves 400 odd for dinner tonight, so I will either do a big stirfry with zero cal noodles or the hairy dieters mushroom risotto (made this yesterday and it was great - didn't add the chicken and it was just under 300 calories)

Usual fast days for me are Mon and Weds, but OH & I have decided to make it Mon and Thurs for a while - to be honest I'm feeling a bit left out this morning - how absurd is that. Good luck to you guys for today - I'll be back here again tomorrow :lol:
My 4th fast day today - think it could be a "toughie" as already feeling hungry after 2 cups of tea. Lost 1.2kg last week (first week) but last Fast day had a terrible sweet tooth craving but I think it's because it that time of the month for me!!
Not sure how to overcome this today - any suggestions? Would be ok to go up to 600 calories just this time to make allowances for my sweet tooth? The plan today is to have a brunch in a couple of hours and then home made soup for dinner about 6.00ish. I will also exercise today.
Hi Linbak64, I would go with fruit if I were you:)
I find that sweet tasting veg snacks works well (sugar snap peas, mangetout etc)

The last fast I did I had a breakfast of grapefruit and I found that I was very hungry all day - not doing that again !! LOL
My 4th fast today. Going to be hard I think. I am tired and craving carbs. Had fruit and yogurt for breakfast but hungry already. Gonna stay strong
Hi Tigs33, I've been experimenting and have found that fasting is much hard when I have breakfast. Just read a post re protein poor meal the day before fasting making it easier, will give that a go next time I think.
Yes I have read that too....I normally have porridge for breakfast but decided not to have breakfast and just have a main dinner.
Good morning fellow fasters :) Just tea and water all day for me. Then some chicken and veggies. Off to Lindisfarne tomorrow so will be some walking but also so B&B breakfasts...you know how it goes. Just going to try and eat normally.

was really filling and warm. And of course you could add more veggies/beans if you wanted it for main meal tonight as I did.

Coming to the end of my second Fast day of the week - Hooray! Normally do Mon and Thurs but Wed suited me better this week. I might sneak an extra day in on Fri for a 4:3 week. I love that this WOE is so flexible. I have been eating just once a day (dinner) for the past couple of weeks and finding it much easier that having small meals. I counted how many times I felt really hungry today and it was 3 and each time the hunger passed in a few minutes. I remember when I gave up smoking years ago I used to try and wait 5 minutes when I wanted a ciggie and generally the craving passed and the same seems to happen with the food cravings.
