It's my 3rd fasting day today (well technically 4th because of an impromptu fast on Sunday) and I have so much work to do I'm hoping I won't even begin to feel hungry until dinner. It's my first weigh in tomorrow so my fingers are crossed!

I'm planning to get as far through the day as I can with no calories, then a big dinner of Waitrose Love Life Lasagne and salad.

Have tuna salad for lunch and a bacon and poached egg salad with new potatoes planned for dinner to match the lovely weather today.
Have survived the morning just on coffee and water and just had a cuppa soup for lunch. Dinner will be eggs and something I think.

I usually do 4:3 with MWF as fast days. Monday's gone. Friday will be major surgery for my mom, and I'll be at the hospital all day with my dad, so no fasting then, either. Also, last week was a food nightmare for me--I just felt so out of control, and didn't succeed for a single true fast day. So, I'm trying my first back-to-back-to-back fast this week. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We'll see how it goes.

rachelB1968, I should have been fasting yesterday, too, but after an horrific week of feeling dreadful and then discovering yesterday that I had had an allergic reaction to the prescribed antibiotics, I felt that a fast yesterday was quite out of the question! I stopped the antibiotics yesterday, on the doctor's advice, and already feel so much better.
On the plus side, at least I lost 4lb, although I have to remember that once I start eating again, most of that will go back on! It does feel good though to have my target weight in my sights, even briefly!

today, I began the day with some black coffee, then a 45 minute walk. After getting home my first meal, at 10am, was 200 cal, with half a piece of wholegrain [dry] toast, I boiled egg, one small slice smoked salmon and half a grapefruit. I'll have a salad with lots of greens and veg and a couple oz. of grilled skinless chicken breast this evening.
