Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
I had a shake for quickness this morning before work and if I get home at a decent hour it will probably be a diet ready meal
Well, trying to split myself between work, home, running my mum around and trying to keep her on an 'up' (lost my dad christmas), child minding my little grandaughter and walking the dog; the portion that everyone gets is nice and slim. Its only when they are all put back together!!
Well done to all of the Aussie fasters who managed to avoid ANZAC bikkies today!
I usually make a big batch and take them into work on ANZAC day... not this year though! (I'm Aussie in the UK)
Anyway, I've done L1/D2 of 30 Day Shred this morning, had a pot of peppermint tea, and a pint of berocca so far. Will have some bouillon about 3pm and then it's soup for dinner.
Good luck to everyone else, and most importantly...
LEST WE FORGET
Planning another fast sunday to get back on track.
Get to wear my size 12 jeans to work tomorrow, so excited, must stop telling everyone.
Since my rocky beginning on the 1st of March (I started with ADF, then 4:3, both unsuccessfully, before finding the 5:2 youtube videos) I have lose 8 pounds. I am very excited as this seems to be getting easier!
I had a few glasses of wine last night (It's not all I do honest! ) so was expecting quite a struggle today and it was initially. Was expecting to have to eat something in the morning but managed with my usual bovril. Had Tuna salad again about 1pm and doing OK so far. Have left a bit of tuna in case I get peckish this afternoon.
Planning the Hairy Bikers Jalfrezi tonight, not made it before but it sounds great. Half a tilda wholemeal rice sachet might put me a few calories over 600 but I'm not going to worry too much.
Good luck to everyone for the afternoon stretch!
Was expecting today to be a little bit harder as I've been feeling hungry the last 2 days but so far its gone easier than I expected.
I had a good feed last night and haven't felt any hunger urges yet.
I'm seriously considering trying the 36 hour thing today, because if ever there was the perfect opportunity this is it. Hubby is away and the children have a friend over for tea. I'd already planned chicken kievs for them and only got three out of the freezer, so none for me anyway. I'm feeling pretty strong after resisting the very yummy looking cakes at a craft centre MIL and I visited this morning, so am in the mood. Plus, the hubby and I are out tomorrow for a very nice dinner and wine followed by a night in a B&B, so I could do with getting a head start on dealing with that
