On my second day of consecutive fasting (week 5). Started off with an egg w/ spinach and peppers. I'm planning on taking little man to the zoo to eat up the day and then will have dinner of a chicken sausage and sauerkraut. I'll be ready for a glass of wine tomorrow...
JED, my situation is very similar to yours. I have begun to do alternate weeks of fasting, one week on Mon and Thurs. and the next week on Mon. Wed. and Fri. I change my fast day if there is a social event on one of my planned fast days. I have lost more inches than weight, but am very happy with the weight loss of 7 pounds since beginning March 7th. I do not enjoy fasting, but I do enjoy the results!
I'm fasting today - but forgot first thing this morning and had a milk coffee! Bit of a waste of ~50cals!! Hey ho! It's nearly dinner time and it will be chicken curry and "rice" - all about 300 cals max!!
haven't really felt hungry today either!
I'm fasting today. My first 36 hour water fast. I've gone 18 hours now and I feel fine. My tummy is rumbling, but it's no big deal. I can eat again tomorrow at noon.
I'm fasting today, second fast since Monday but actually first fast of my second week of this WOE. I did three in the first week by mistake as wanted to do Monday this week and I'd started on Tuesday. I guess this means I'll have to do another fast this week now. Rats!
Still I'm actually finding the fasts quite easy, though not finished this one yet. Also not feeling hungry really on fast days and surprisingly not over eating on feed days but I know it's early days so will have to hope it continues. First flush of enthusiasm has waned quite easily in the past.
Fast days I'm avoiding breakfast and then eating light lunch to give 300+ cals for evening.

I have fasted today instead of tomorrow. This children are off school tomorrow and cooking for them all day would be torture! Friday I'm going to a chocolate factory with my best friend so I couldn't fast then either therefore today is the only day I could.

I had oats for breakfast which filled me up for most of the day and I had a chicken salad for dinner! Lots of water and fruit tea!

I have gone slightly over today (534 cals) but I did burn 340 cals in the gym today so I will forgive myself. I ran 4K today for the first time which I am so proud of. 5K is not far off!
Well, I'm fasting today but mascarading a guy as my 500 calories morphed into 600. C'est la vie! I'll do better next time. :oops:
