Okay, since no one has started one yet, my turn to get the ball rolling. Week 2 and second fast if the week. Starting to become routine although, today is a long one. I have to last till after Kate night work hours:)
I am in tomorrow morning when I wake up ( Wednesday 1st May )

It will be my 12th fasting day and on my 4th week so far - LOVE IT :like:

Good luck to you Dude....

Pia
I'm in! On water until dinner time when I will have a 200g potato with veggie chili, natural yoghurt and a squeeze of lime, yummy! I have to go down to my old university today to accept a deans merit list award and there will be lunch on so that will be a challenge but I'm confident I can do it. This is my 3rd fast and I LOVE it! :)
Shannonaleece,
Good luck. Sounds like I am only one fast ahead of you. I had a similar problem on Monday. Had a visit from a company rep who brought the most amazing lunch for all. The smells were amazing, but I managed to hold off. Keep busy! Best excuse for being social on your special day.

Congrats on the award!
All the best everyone!

I'll be joining you all in the morning after a good night's sleep.
I'm particularly looking forward to tomorrows fast as I received this (graze box) in the post today -

Week 8, fast 2 :)
Hi joining you on the morning ... How
Many calls in the graze
Box ... Looks lovely xx
Hi maria - it's a light box by graze, which means it's about 500 cal :) - you can check the exact amount on each individual portion. I'm also trying one for the first time tomoz. moogie has done a post about how you get a free one to start you off, but you could wait and get the verdict from IcePrincess and me before you decide?
I used to get Graze boxes when they first started when I lived in Edinburgh. I did like them but I found them to be a bit hot and cold. One week I get a really yummy one and then the next week I would get a really bland one. But this was well over 2 years ago so they may have perfected the boxes more since then! :)
It looks yummy. My problem with grazing is once I start, I can't stop.

I'm fasting today. I love a new month, time to cleanse, to start fresh with new goals, ideas and projects. Here's to May day, and fasting throughout the month.
I have tried the Graze boxes as well. The mix was a little hit and miss for me as well. Some were great while others I could do without. Problem was the random nature of the boxes.

But also agree with Mystic. My problem with snacking is stopping. Once I start, it is hard to stop and not feel miserable.

On other fronts, work is boring today! Not enough distractions to shift the mind off food! :(
Hi all!

I am a newbie and I am doing my first fast today! Yay! :D

I have lots to learn...including how to use this forum! But I am getting there.

I am from New Zealand...I like the sound of those Grazing Boxes...they look yum! I am OK at snacks if they are portion controlled in their own little container...so no threat of having to put a lid back on something that has been opened but not finished!

I am similar to you Dude, I must finish all that I start! ;)

Emma
Hi all,
I'm usually a Mon/Thurs faster but have a "do" tomorrow so changed to today!
Don't you love the flexibility?
I've been for a swim and now getting some support on here- not used to only a one day eating gap and psychologically finding it a bit harder.
All good, tonight I'll have a nice 450 cals and tomorrow I can eat out!
Congrats Shannon on your extra special Uni award. My daughter graduated last week from Macquarie Uni in Arts and Education- you have all worked hard and done it!
I've just joined & this is my first fast. I'm in Japan ~ it's 11:30 am I'm hungry but in good spirits & enthusiastic about the programme.

Stomach's rumbling loudly. Just had meeting with a plate of biscuits on the table, people kept urging me to have one. DIDN'T! Couldn't explain what I'm up to, so just rumbled on. I'm going to get into some work now & drink some black coffee ~ coffee's allowed right?.
Hi Susan!

Good to hear you avoided the biscuits...sometimes its not always food thats the issue it can other people constantly urging you to eat even if you politely decline...so well done for leaving biscuit on the plate :)

I hope black coffee is allowed...its what I have been drinking today!
:)
Yes! Black coffee is definitely allowed or we'd all be snoozing through the day!
I think some people do count the cals but it's too small to worry about IMO - unless you are having one an hour!
