I'm in. I've struggled the last couple of fasts, but today is going much better so far :) Good luck to everyone and I hope you all have an easy day :)
Hello everyone
First post but 6th fast day. I am on week 4 and have lost 3 lbs. I did have a week of no fasting though. I think I should have a closer look at my non-fast day intake if I want to achieve my goal weight.....
I'm fasting today too~ I did Sunday and Monday (usual days Mon & Wed) as well but I've not been well so it's not been too difficult. Hate this cold bug that's doing the rounds... My head feels like it's going to explode! Xx
Im doing my first ever fast day today. So far so good :)
Does anyone go to the gym on fast days? I was planning on working my fast days around days that im not in the gym.

I do a strenuous boot camp workout on Fast days and have had no problem. I workout 4-5 days a week, so a Fast day will always be in there somewhere.
I only do 3 days in the gym per week so can work around it.
Good to know that if my fast days change then i dont need to change my gym days too!

first post here! I'm on my 5th fast day - did one friday as a 'test' and then started the week after so I am in my 2nd week.

Weigh in tomorrow so will see if it is working.

I skip breakfast, have 200 cals for lunch and 300 cals for supper.
I'm fasting today as well - so far I've only had a cup of tea today but will have a lovely filling omelet at some point. Does anyone else get the whole, stomach is rumbling but not actually really feeling that hungry thing? I would normally eat around this time on a fast day but think I will probably end up eating much later instead for a change
Fasting today but it's very cold here, did have 2 eggs for brekkie and given in to home made vegs soup for lunch as cold and not exactly hungry but wanting something hot and filling - not good really but I need to get motivated!
Hope everyone had a good day! I'm afraid I caved because while we were shopping we had to have lunch out... a most delish broccoli and stilton soup with a little granary bread. So then i thought that I might as well have a normal evening meal, but still managed to only do 800cals in the whole day.. I am quite pleased. Not the end of the world! :smile:
The day is almost over and I had 507 calories. I was desperate for something sweet and I ate a sugar-free cereal bar. It was delicious!
I'm really anxious to weigh myself tomorrow, after two days of the Dukan attack and one fast!
Just had a great fasting day meal -- I cannot believe how big a 220 cal salad (spinach, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, red bell peppers, red onions) is, and 80 of those calories were from 2 tbs of dressing! :-P

Very yummy, and expanding nicely in my tummy right now. :-)

With it I had two slices of a nice ham/cheese/onion pizza with a thin crust at 140 cal/slice. Very tasty for low cal food.

I even have enough room for a small yogurt later tonight to cap it off and curb the pre-bed jitters.

I work out on fasting days and on normal days. I find it's actually better on fasting days, and so far have not had any energy issues.

I stopped eating ~10pm last night and didn't eat at all until 6pm today, and I ran ~5 miles on the treadmill at a slow/moderate pace. I felt pretty good pretty much all day. I find the workouts (which I do during lunch hour) curb my appetite for a good chunk of the afternoon.
Ow just about to tuck into hot lemon drink beginning my fast today and the thought of a big salad & pizza way too much to bear. Food for thought might be DH dinner as I stick with 36hr fluids.
Survived my first fast with no real issues, yay! I even did a zumba class last night and wasnt lacking energy at all... if anything it was something to keep me busy and killed the hunger a bit. however i didnt sleep well so I am super super tired today, not sure if that was attributed to the fast or not? my tummy was also a bit sore this morning like i had been doing sit ups? will be interesting to see how my energy levels are for my Body Combat class tonight.
2nd fast tomorrow (Friday). thinking i mite try and prep some vege soup tonight for lunch tomorrow, and i prepared some low cal jelly this morning to have for desert tomorrow night :) now just to decide what to have for dinner :)
happy fasting to everone who is still fasting today due to time zone! (im an aussie so its now Thursday) :P
