Have had coffee with a bit o milk so far and although I have packed a mini protein bar (open in case of emergency ;>) I plan not to eat till dinner of curried veg/lentil/chickpeas. I ave managed this lately, tho in the early days I found it too hard. Anyway good fasting to all of you joining me today.

I also ate alot of crap and drank a few too many on the weekend....
skipping 'breakfast' today, have a fairly large salad with a small tin of tuna for lunch at 200 cals, salad and chicken breast for tea after my Zumba class.
This is only my second week, 3rd fast... i sneakily weighed this morning and i have put on... however its TTOM, and im probably bloated from the weekend indulgence so I will keep pushing on regardless - I dont really have any social engagements for the next month which will help, so head down bum up til then and not weighing again til the 28th June.

I'm in today, mostly fast on Monday but have my sister up from Melbourne and decided to go to the city for dinner last night and see the Vivid festival. So I actually did 16:8 unintentionally.
I made some vege soup from only carrot, beetroot, celery and ginger which makes it about 40 cals for a bowl so I've so far had 1/2 a serve of that along with water and coffee.
I did manage not to have the little biscuit with my coffee at the shops!
I don't like only having one day between fasts so hope I'll manage the Thursday fast this week.

Im planning of fasting today and tomorrow know, I was supposed to have been fasting yesterday (Bank Holiday)was doing really well until I had to cook lunch for the whole family including Parents and Brothers family so nearly 12 people. Did have lots of vegetables though and not a lot of potatoes but could not resist having a couple of glassess of wine with the meal sat in the back garden in the sun (Did the weather know it was a Bank Holiday weekend). As I said yesterday I have a busy Thursday so was not planning on Fasting on normal on Thursday so the only other days this week I could do are Tuesday and Wednesday as will be really busy days at work. (Love this way of life, you can correct any mess ups so easily)
I have planned both days really well, I think using Myfitnesspal. Having breakfast which I dont normally have of Bran Flakes and Skimmed Milk with extra Bran comes in at 200 including Hot drinks (Coffee/Green Tea and Marigold) Lunch will be on the run with a Instant Miso Soup I am planning of staying at work till 6pm both nights and by the time I have driven an hour home and cooked tea (Grilled Quorn Cheese and Broccoli Escalope with Steammed Broccoli it will be 8pm then only an hour to bed time with a mug of 40cal WW Hot chocolate today should come in at 587Cal
Wednesday is planned the same but with a different Quorn Dish.

Well I had a great long weekend - plenty of lazing in the garden (actually sunny for once) and lovely food (homemade pizza, crispy duck legs, ice cream, smoothies, cheese, chocolate) & booze (not too much but some every day). This was balanced a bit by a run yesterday and saturday and painting the dining room (using those paint pads really works the triceps!) Enjoyed all my food though - fairly calorific in parts but mainly homemade from wholesome ingredients and yummy!
So I'm fasting today, Friday and hopefully Sunday as my husband's away with work over the weekend. He's one of those irritating people who can lose weight without even thinking about it and finds it really hard to gain weight. He's 6'2" and weighs about 10 stone 9 at the mo - BMI 19 of pure lard-free muscle... oh well at least if we have kids there's a 50/50 chance they'll get his genes..
Would usually have no breakfast on a fast day but am v hungry this morning and have noticed that I can't focus if I'm too hungry so have had 80 cals worth of frozen blueberries & greek yogurt as breakfast. A banana for 'lunch' if I need it and then the stir fry chicken from the recipes in the fast diet book tonight should bring me up to my 500cals. Also drinking my coffee black today for the first time. Ok but just not the same.
Now off out into rain for my first day of my psychiatry placement!
