Morning all. Anybody else out there fasting? I am doing fast no 11. Usually fast on Thursday but can't this week. Good luck to all

I am in for Wed. It is still Tuesday with me but I don't eat after my evening meal so will have only liquids until 7pm tomorrow. Wishing all Wednesday faster a good and succesfull day.

I'm fasting tomorrow which is today for some too.....
Had too much to eat tonight and feel uncomfortable. I really need to stop over stuffing myself. Old habits die hard :-(

I'll fast too and I'm already hungry but after two days of the Dukan attack I can't wait to have my veggies!
BTW, I'm trying the slim noodles tomorrow! Wish me luck...

Week 6 fast 2.

Things are not going as well this week. After the splurge last weekend, scales still seem to be moving in the wrong direction even after the first fast :(

So, second attempt for the week, with possibly a third on Friday.

Hi Dude, I read elsewhere that some people don't see the scales go down for the first few fasts but after they do start to shift. Stay strong, it must feel pretty disheartening though!

I'm on my third fast, Saturday, Monday and today. I won't get another chance to fast until next Tuesday so I thought it would hurt doing a fast every second day. I did weigh myself this morning to see of my weight goes up from a feeding day, it did the first time but today I was exactly the same. Even though I overate a bit and ate too much chocolate. So since Saturday, I'm down by 2.2kg, quite amazed! I'm already excited to weigh again tomorrow to see what today's fast will bring (a bit obsessive I know, but it keeps me motivated!).

Today I am trying an all day fast until dinner, the other two I have divided my calories into three meals so I hope I don't feel too hungry.

I love this WoE, not a single person knows I'm on a diet (in "real life") and it is so easy to hide. I love how my stomach is so much less bloated and i don't feel like I'm bursting out of my clothes. I love fasting days, and I've started to notice a change in my skin, just from two fasts. I have had a patch of eczema on my hand for months and yesterday I noticed it has almost halved and it wasn't itchy. My body is repairing itself :smile: and it feels great!

Hey fasting newbie. Congrats! You are doing well with 2.2kg lost in week. Even at the start I only averaged 1.2kg a week.

I suspect I have hit a little bit of a plateau as last week hovered on the same weight irregardless of whether it was fast or feast day, even though I splurged a little on Friday.

Wondering if having a bad head cold over the last few days is skewing the weight. It definitely is making fasting harder :)

Thanks Dude, I'm surprised I've lost that much too, but from previous diets I tend to drop weight quite fast in the beginning. It could also be that I'm still quite young at 23 and lift weights. I'm sure lots of factors influence how much weight we drop.

I had misread your previous post, I thought you were on your first few fasts so disregard my previous comment! How long have you been on 5:2 for?

Going strong, survived on coffee (0), a Pepsi max (0) and a cup-a-soup (45) and will be having a homemade soup for tea (400). If all goes to plan that is!

Fasting newbie:
This will be my 6th week. The first couple I did 5:2 but found myself wandering off target between fasts so changed to 4.5:3.5. The third fast day I tend to be a little more relaxed on the caloric intake. While I will endeavour to keep it close to 600 calories, I am not going to get torn up about it.

I tend not to eat during the day, keeping my calories for a larger evening meal. Daytime is a coffee to Kickstarter the heart then water only till dinner. Only 5 more hours to go :)

Don't seem to be many of us fasting today. Let us know what you think of the noodles TML13 as they seem really expensive to me but are they satisfying? After hols,I am, as somebody else has said on the boards, trying to lose that same kilo! Have a good day everybody and keep it going.

I am on my second fast today. I did something that I knew would trigger hugger, I went for a long walk with the dog before work. It is just to test me out as to what will work in the long run and what to avoid. Fingers crossed!

I agree with Grannyc185, it's very hard to stop over indulging on feeding days (btw I hate the term feeding days!). Fasting today after a month off the diet so looking forward to it. I will probably survive on lots of tea and save the majority of my calories for tonight's evening meal - pork loin chops, yummy.

I'm fasting today aswell. I usually do Mondays and Thursdays, but my niece is graduating tomorrow. I really love that about this diet; I can enjoy the party tomorrow without feeling bad, cake and wine and all! I just have to shift days!
This is my third week and tomorrow I can weigh myself at my parents, for the first time since the start of the diet. I really do hope that I have lost a couple of kilos, the clothes don't feel as tight anymore so I'm in good hope...

Good Morning from Spain, I'm in :) Normally do Thursday but am finding Wedsnesday becoming easier I'm more in the zone if you know what I mean. I'm going to try and fit a very low cal day in at the week-end too, not as low as 500, maybe 700 to break -up a row of 4 feed days - OH is working lates at the week-end too, so that'll mean I;m not tempted to go overboard on the grape juice ;) x Happy days everyone x
