It's now nearly 9pm here. Rainy night. Another fast under my belt. And the belt is necessary now as my pants are falling down! I have lost 9 cm off my waist. I still find afternoons quite challenging. I met a friend in a coffee shop this afternoon and I only had a black coffee while she had eggs on toast. It was a long wait for the beetroot soup. Counting the hours until breakfast now.
I had my last food at about 4:30pm yesterday and it's now almost noon today, I'm not hungry at all which is really weird for me.... I had a really bad nights sleep thanks to a horrid nightmare and I woke up so very hungry.... I must be just getting used to fasting, heh. Looking forward to my evening meal though :D
I'm in today too :) So far so good...I have teaching this afternoon so that'll keep my mind off the hunger! Then cooking Hairy Dieters meatballs for dinner yum yum
Looks like a lot of Thursday fasters have changed their fasting day this week! I'm also fasting today because yesterday was my birthday and I went for a little trip... I had a wonderful time and enjoyed every glass of wine and every delicious thing I ate! I decided to fast today instead, but unfortunately had all my calories at breakfast so it has been a somewhat long day. Anyway, almost there now and more celebrations to look forward to tomorrow!
An actual Friday faster here!

I'm in for today, but I'm going to have to have a rethink now that my thyroxin dose has been cut. Eating just the same as before, but seem to be putting the weight back on 1lb at a time.

Have a telephone consultation booked for next Tuesday. (By the doctor to discuss ANOTHER letter from the hospital suggesting that they lower my dose to what they've already lowered it to!) Will bring this up then...
Happy birthday for yesterday AiriR!

My fast won't end until lunch time tomorrow, so I'm hoping to sleep in and bypass most of the vagueness that usually accompanies the end of my 36hour fasts. Good luck everyone for the rest of their Fast Days!!
I'm in, but feeling a bit under par with a sore throat, so will see how I go. Generally doing Mon and Wed with 400-500 cal evening meal only, and then Fri with ordinary evening meal only. Then I don't count at all on the other days and eat whatever I like. (Seemed to be working until I looked at the scales this morning!)
mid way through and am RAVENOUS and feel really chilly (my team are all toasty warm and think I am ill!) but just had cup of builders tea and feel much better and fuller too - hurrah! 3 hours til dinner - I can do this! I can do this!
Just done a huge shop at Tesco (that I now have to lug back to Central London from Essex ugh) and bought myself some yummy things to look forward too tomorrow :) now to go home and cook meatballs!

Was your dose changed on the basis of TFT results? Have you had a repeat TFT since your dose reduction? Are you having any other hypo symptoms other than weight gain?
Sorry for all the questions, just curious as I'm a med student!
Forgot to post until now that I am also fasting today. I'm sitting in my conservatory trying to resist the temptation of a nice cool glass of white wine!!
Roll on supper in an hours time which is M&S fuller longer venison in red wine sauce with potato & parsnip mash 320 calories. I have also had to add in coffee with milk throughout the day, I really don't like black coffee so another 100 calories which leaves enough for an apple & a small nectarine
Hope your day has gone well all other fasters
I am also in! cooking green soup for dinner, with every green veggie I found in the fridge, rosemary and ginger added for less grassy taste ;)
I like fasting, but as always in the evening of a fast day I visualize nice thick piece of bread with lots of butter which I will eat tomorrow for breakfast
Good luck for the end of the day!
Count me in! I had a very nice pasta (zero noodles) for lunch and I will make a very nice mushroom frikasse for dinner. YUM!
I'm normally a Monday/Wednesday faster but the bank holiday and work commitments mean that I have done Tuesday and Friday this week. I always save all my calories for dinner. I was fine at work but feel a bit deprived now I am home and can't have my usual Friday night glass of wine. Oh well - back to normal next week. Just about to have salmon and a large salad for dinner which will be tasty on such a sunny day.
Came home to find my new Good Food magazine had been delivered and clicking through it now...this is probably akin to torture!!
