Haha, that is funny! I had never really heard of "moringa" until I bought a lovely shower gel with that scent. Think I'll stick with the shower gel version...

Fasting today as well. Typically a M/Th gal, but big doings tomorrow night. Good fast, all!

Two days in a row is HARD - don't do it people! I have been ravenous all day. I had some watermelon (60cals) for brekkie as tummy rumbling when I got up, ate 3 bits of pastrami (48cals) at lunchtime and at 3pm have had 2 crackerbreads with a scraping of tahini, a tsp of nutritional yeast and a sprinkling of sea salt on for around 110 cals. Having a BBQ bean chilli for dinner with some salad followed by some frozen berries with an alpro caramel dessert (out of low fat yogurt) so will probably end up over today but I am just glad I haven't cracked and scoffed a huge sandwich - there's a lovely brown seedy roll waiting for me tomorrow.

Already fantasising about tomorrow's food and calculating when is a reasonable time to go to bed!
Today was going to be a 16:8 day, however what a day at work So I decided to make today a FAST day and will see if I can also do tommrrow as a FAST day making this week 3 days 4:3.
I'm in. I ate like a pig yesterday, so I'm glad I'm starting 5:2 on a fast day.
Well I've made it (just) to bedtime without eating my own arm but now have a stonking headache (been in front of a screen one way or another all day - oh yeah and I've been HUNGRY all day) so I'm going to hit the hay and hopefully sleep like a baby - or more accurately sleep like a husband - until I can get up and stuff my face - sorry I mean eat sensibly...

Goodnight all!
Pist1958 Congratulations on the grandchildren they are a total joy. Our 10th is now 3 weeks old and looking around already they are just amazing. I saw a sticker on the back window once that said, ( if I'd known grandchildren were so much fun I would have started with them ) Enjoy every minute.
Ditto Chickvic - I'd really like to shift my blubber before the summer is completely gone! My Friday fast always seems much tougher than Monday or Wednesday - not sure why - but I'm sticking with it as 'weight-loss insurance'.

Dear Slimmer - please hold onto your resolve and stay away from the lovely wine - it is full of evil sugary calories and you really don't want them (today at least) :)

I wish there was some way of silencing the rumbling bovine in my stomach - it's positively intrusive and almost 'rude'...
6th Fast day today Wednesday.

So far so good. I tried to be sensible yesterday so was a bit hungry through the day but did overindulge a little bit for dinner.
Today nothing but liquids with little or no calories until dinner. Coffee, tea, water. No sugar, no substitutes. This seems to be the easier way for me to get through the fast days.
