I'm in today. Did my first full fasting week for a while last week after a few 6:1s. I have also started running again after a couple of weeks off so feel like I'm getting back on track after birthday related indulgences.

Was going to do salad for lunch but as someone else said it's a bit chilly today so soup it is. Hairy Dieters lamb curry for dinner which I'm looking forward to trying. Their Jalfrezi is brilliant
Day nearly over. Really did not feel hungry at all during the day until I had light dinner at 7.30pm. Clothes feel really loose today so hopefully that means that the scales will be good later this week
@sjtaylor - hang on in there, you can do it :clover:

And if you fall at the last hurdle then never mind, just pick yourself up & have another go
Fasting today too, week 4, 7th fast, ignoring the scales but can feel changes in the way clothes fit, yay!
My first fast today. Stopped eating at 8pm yesterday and have stuck to hot drinks so far. Am planning to have a feta salad and some berries with creme fraiche this evening. Calculated it all and it's just under 500cals.
Don't feel too hungry really. Bouillon is my new best friend.
All done for today. Fasting is definately getting easier even on a very stressful day when I would have normally reached for food or drink to help.
Good luck everyone still fasting.
I'm in today - can't remember what week I'm on (is it 8th or 9th?) but I have been faithfully fasting 2 days every week, and since I have started this (17 April) I have done some exercise every single day except one. I've also recently started doing 16:8 on my non-fasting days, hoping to wiggle down a plateau.

The 5:2 part is habit now. I won't admit to liking fasting but I can cope with it. Some days are easier than others - today for some reason I am very cranky (I think I would have been anyway - I have a lot going on - and the fasting just makes it worse). But if I show some movement in the scales tomorrow - which I haven't in about a month now - I will feel it is all worth it.

Not sure what I will have for dinner tonight but I do have some grillable veg and halloumi in the fridge so that's a backstop. I have to get better at planning and preparing my meals in advance - I get home from work absolutely bonkers hungry and growling at my poor children if they say anything to me that keeps me from making and eating my dinner. Not good. :-(
I am on fast 7 and have lost almost 5 kilos. 9 more to go!!!! Finding it a bit tough as ate way too much in last two days!!!! Am only on liquid though
Welcome sjtaylor! Keep at it, it'll get easier.

Just finishing off at work, have stuck to coffee with skimmed milk so far, will have some raw veg and cottage cheese tonight.
I'm in.

Just done a 4 mile walk pushing a double pram so I'm uber :starving:

2 more hours till my 500 cals :like:
Had my 500 cals and now I feel sick. Is this normal?
im on my 5th fast. Im type 2 diabetic and im finding it is helping my perception of when I need to eat. Have had sushi for lunch and salad for tea. I cant go without food all day like some people but am finding Im not as hungry in between. Im exhausted tonight so wondering wether to go to bed now!
Almost done for the day, just enough cals left for a mug of Options before bed. I made the whole family eat a bit earlier than usual as it was all ready and I ran out of other things to distract me from this fact. I have a posh lunch out with a friend tomorrow so I may try and hold out till lunchtime tomorrow
Have done ok today, did not eat anything until 3pm, then a couple of items from graze box @200kals. Then home late at 7.30 and had some prawns, cucumber salad and cottage cheese. Feeling the cold though, feet are freezing
