Morning all. Glorious July day - looking forward to fasting today.

Overdid it as always this weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it - some beautiful belly pork last night, a lake of red wine, and some real ale amongst the highlights.

I'm in for my usual Monday fast. It's a lovely mild winter's day here and I've spent some time gardening. Had husband's birthday celebrations yesterday with everything that that entails (although I'm happy to say I didn't go overboard) so feels good to be fasting today. It's already past four so most of the day is gone and tomorrow's getting closer... :smile:
I'm fasting today after a manic weekend of birthday celebrations! It was my daughter's birthday yesterday and we had a birthday party in the garden complete with huge bouncy castle! It was was amazing and she loved it! Have to say I've woken up not in the mood to fast though, but think that's mostly down to tiredness, especially as baby decided to start the day at 5am! Will see how I go today! Good luck everyone :0)
Morning Im in today! Been a busy weekend and really feel like I need to liquid fast as tummy feels sluggish and heavy. Have my mum visiting for a week so will be interesting to see how she copes with my WOL I have told her and she seems ok with the idea, she may even join me.
I don't know if I'm going to do another liquid fast again this week. Apart from the fact it's 8.30am and I'm already pretty hungry, I didn't feel all that good the day after last week. We'll see. Got some tofu and veg to stir fry if I don't feel like it, and I certaily won't feel bad if I cave in.

I am fasting today but adding in not eating breakfast all week to see how that goes. Having done more reading I think I can tackle this with ease! Here goes!
Good morning all, I'm fasting today too. I may be getting the opportunity to go on vacation in two weeks' time, so I'm sitting here planning how to fit in fasting and exercise. It's fun!
I'm certainly in today. I pigged out at the weekend, don't know why but I did so my digestive system needs a rest. Why is it that I love salad and I love chocolate but I never pig out on salad!
I'm out! Woke up very hungry and rather shattered and after the school run I had breakfast and a cup of tea! Normally Mondays are very easy fasts, but I'm not going to worry about it, may even just do one fast this week and see if I maintain. I did lose a lb last week with two fasts so happy with that and I'm over the two stone lost mark so will be nice to myself this week. Bought a pair of size 18 jeans last week to shrink into and was very pleased when I could get them on and do them up, but still wouldn't wear them yet as it was not a flattering look! Oh well, I shall get there and there's no rush!
I'm trying a liquid fast again today, my first one was Friday and it helped knock me out of my plateau, has anyone found the liquid fasts speed up the weight loss?

i think i found it easier than eating!
Hey guys

I'm in today too. Second liquid fast ever - but the first one was about 2 months ago. I had lost about 5lbs but put it all back up in the month of hols!!!! I am going to stick to tea, coffee and bovril til I get home. At that point - I am making some homemade tomato soup so may have a cup of that if I'm feeling very low. Tomato soup recipe is just tinned tomatoes, garlic,basil and stock cube - think it will be about 50 cals for a cup - hope that doesn't ruin my fast

What is everyone else eating? I defo would find this easier if I knew what others were eating?
Hi - I'm not eating anything - black tea and water all day, with a white coffee mid morning. But I know different people are doing different things.
I'm keeping to <200 calories today - but I'm aiming for a full liquid fast next week - I figure after last week's enforced LF I should be able to swing one every two weeks.

Tonight I'll have a low calorie veg curry for dinner - with a load of broccoli instead of carbs.

Just to say, guys, I'd find it helpful to stick a link to the new thread in the old one - it would help people to find us. I've put a link to this one on last weeks thread.
Iam in today; just got in from work
Need to lose a bit after yesterday to get back on track. We went to a charity fare in our local park. where there were lovely homemade cakes :razz: We had tea and cake there and took some home for desert :oops:
Fasting today and Wednesday this week as its my partners birthday on Saturday so we are going to Berwick Thursday to Monday.
Fast is going Ok for me so far; hope the same applies to everyone
Oh dear my fasting day came to an abrupt end at 11.30 when I scoffed some leftover plain cake warmed and topped with strawberries and lemony whipped cream that was lurking in the fridge! I'm going to my parents' for dinner tonight so rather than fast today and try and eat a small dinner at theirs (and probably go over anyway) I've just shifted it to tomorrow when I'm at work and hopefully will be distracted from thoughts of food by leading groups both morning and afternoon. I will see how I feel but might even make it a full no food fast (for some reasona the phrase 'liquid fast' sounds very strange to me, makes me feel a bit queasy!). Planning on having my other fast day thursday and will be eating a slimming world chicken dinner with friends, so it's likely to be reasonably healthy if not exactly 500 cals. Not too worried about it - flexibility is the name of this game!
