Hallo m'dears :0) Just back from trotting round Ipswich, Suffolk and Essex, very pretty villages, nice rivers, and lovely coast at Southwold, all very fun and food was um, plentiful!
Hope you are all happy and well. Give yourselves a hug :0D

It's a sad state of affairs to see the tents so empty. We'll have to have a good Christmas knees up again, to rally the troops!!

My phase 1 of Zoe Harcombe Summer Blitz completes after today, five days of sub 900 calories a day, three meals a day, no sugar in any form, no cheese/nuts/fruit/avocado, only brown rice or quinoa as grain/seeds. Tomorrow I start phase 2 when I can start to add an item a week, see if I have a negative (craving) reaction to it. I am considering strawberries and cream!
It's being an interesting journey. I fully intend to resume fasting after the 14 days are over, but the change in tempo has had positive effects on my body, weight is down, and I should hopefully be nearing the end of the 'carb flu' interlude and begin to feel more energetic and lose the painful legs and weariness they tell me.
I'm hoping I've broken the back of sugar cravings too.
I'm eating a very simple diet of two soft boiled eggs with batons of one carrot and stick of celery for breakfast; fish and salad for lunch; rice or quinoa with veg followed by natural live yogurt for dinner. Only decaff hot drinks and water. (My choice of their menu suggestions.)
Apparently phase 2 is followed until my natural weight is reached, that is, until my weight stabilises, then phase 3 includes the occasional treat/cheat food but always and forever only non-packaged real food. It's also important to not eat fat and carbs at the same meal, at least three hours between.
It's a simple method and easy for me after a year and a half of IF. I do feel I may be missing out on the repair autophagy by not fasting so aim to incorporate the two ways of eating somehow.
Sorry for going on :0)

:clover: Good. Luck with phase 2 @Azureblue :clover:
Was wondering how you were doing. :like:
I'm off out for a mini shopping session this morning then if the weather holds up maybe a little work in the garden later this afternoon, nothing to exciting for me then
until this evening were off out to friends for a meal,
which we do monthly taking it in turns to cook up sometimes a 3 course meal, as they've got strawberries and rhubarb in their garden I'm living in hope of these being the basis of the desert. mmmmm. :like:

Have a great weekend SSS members :like:

Amazing, @azureblue
We have dug (yes, literally) the bikes out of the shed, dusted them down, pumped up the tyres and been for a ride. It was great! Not too far for the first time in about 6 years, just round the village (lots of people to wave to!) but enough for me to regain some confidence and say let's do it again.

Ate a bit off message yesterday - strawberries and cream, oatcakes dipped in hommous, today I'm 5lbs up! Presumably water retention as they weren't huge portions, but shows up real quick doesn't it :0.
Back to the phase 1 song today but wondering about all this. I will continue to it's 14 conclusion anyway.
