Ah thanks @BarbaritanInhave missed you guys that's for sure!
Have done well today. No food until just now when I had 100g cabbage, poached egg and baked beans - I know how to live!!

Still got 4Weetabix to play with - for later!

Bean xx
Challenge members and goals so far are:

#0 ADFnFuel - foolish leader and amateur bean counter (crnt goal: DEXA scan)
#1 @Cupcake - 14s 10 to 13s 3 (Welcome cupcake!)
#2 @barbarita - Noticed your 1,000th post! Congrats!
#3 @cblasz - currently in for...a longer sentence (and a steepening trend line slope.)
#4 @Pilchards - 13,200 steps for 6 of 7 days ('cause 7 days make one weak), 68.1kg to start (-2.1 kg goal)
#5 @carieoates - -6 pound target ("Here, a lucky one, that #5 is." - Yoda)
#6 @azureblue - defrosting -4kg
#7 @Katharina -7 pounds towards 126 (echoing my recent drive to break a plateau)
#8 @grannieannie - progress please! 1 pound a week, walk 5 days longer each time

Welcome to our most recent join-ees:
#9 @warriorprincess -1 pound a week for the duration of the challenge
#10 @nursebean - also -1 pound a week
#11 @melbmandy -2kg (from 67kg to 65kg)
#12 @piper -1 pound a week

Procedurally I think that we should report our weekly progress by Friday each week (Saturday for the down unders) and keep the original finish line at April 30th.

Thoughts?

Edits: Minor changes and two additions!
I'm in! I'd like to lose 2 kgs by the end of April ideally to go from 67kg to 65kg. Any more would be lovely but probably not realistic!

I'm finding getting back into 5:2 a bit of a challenge but I'll get there. They don't lie when they say that everything is that much harder with a toddler!!
Hi, everyone. I'd like to join. I'll do a pound a week, also.
#6 proclaiming current weight 78kgs and very much hoping for a lower number.
Many thanks ADnF, let's all get stuck in together \o/
Thanks ADFnFuel xGood luck all :like: i am not joining in as such tho have dedicated self back into getting healthier, slimmer and stronger,so by end of April,am hoping to see some good results size wise and blood test results wise xx
Hi everyone. I failed the last challenge miserably and ended up gaining weight! I definitely want in on this one to redeem myself. My goal is to lose 3 pounds and to reach 10,000 steps at least 4 days a week.

CSW: 141 lbs (3-28-16)
CGW: 138 lbs

Good luck!
My first week back on fasting - and I've lost 1 and a half pounds! Woohoo! Happy with that :)
I think I'm going to pass on the challenge. I have my April vacation this month, so I don't think I can make that much progress in the remaining 3 weeks. Thank you! I'll catch the next one!
#4 reporting for duty. I only managed a 100g loss this week which was somewhat expected as a) I over indulged last weekend b) I have been losing weight steadily since middle of January so was due a bit of a plateau and c) I only did my Fitbit step challenge 5 out of the 7 days. Not trying to make excuses but I like the way this WOE lets me be in touch with what is going on with my body but doesn't make me feel as if I have failed if I have an ordinary week. Rather it inspires me to regain focus next week and continue to work towards my goal.
Look forward to hearing from the other April Fools.
Hi there, #2 checking in.

Right, protein consumption, bit of guesstimation:

Monday. 60g
Tuesday. 75g
Wednesday. 45g
Thursday. 54g

Gosh, what a faff this is, but it has shown me that I was consuming too much recently. I must keep an eye out in Aldi for cheap, modern kitchen scales. It is too much work with my 40 year old ones.
Just checking in for the week.
CSW: 141 lbs (3-28-16)
CGW: 138 lbs
4-1-16: 139.6 lbs

If this number is accurate, I may have to adjust my CGW. I knew the 141 was temporary since I had a hearty Easter dinner. I'll see what happens next week and adjust accordingly. I just got back from grocery shopping and most of my cart was veggies and fruits. I plan on making healthy sandwiches and wraps for the next week. However, some cookies and gelato did manage to somehow make it into my cart...I wonder how that happened...darn sweet tooth! I am well on my way to 5 straight days of 10,000 steps or above, so I'm pretty happy about that. I usually only get 1 of those a week. I'm tired of yo-yo-ing between the high 130s and low 140s so I am determined to make this a month of change!
#8 @grannieannie - progress please! 1 pound a week, walk 5 days longer each time

Easter weight(Mon am) 222.8 lbs
Fri. check-in 4/1 222.0 lbs Close to a pound, in 5 days - this is good.
Exercise problem - my doctor okayed walking and pushing the heart rate. Tues. walk was good. On Wed. I went further, got breathless, and had mild chest pain. After many tests in Emergency Room, I was told probable angina, need a stress test, on Tues. This will tell me what exercise I can do safely, but I need to rest till Tues. :frown: Well, not up to challenge this week, but I plan to be after Tues. Meanwhile, no sugar at all, and fewer carbs. I can do this.
Fasting today. :clover:
No shift yet on the weight but it's early days. I'm just glad I was able to fast easily on Thursday and I've even thrown in an extra fast this week since it seems to be getting easier the more I do it. I'll weigh in tomorrow and see if there's any progress.
Okay, it is early, since I only saw the challenge two-three? days ago. No change- or maybe a little, since I am weighing in at the lower end of my wiggle weight. :victory: More good news to come?
