If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Welcome, and glad to have you. I tried 5:2 on my own after reading the book. I was unable to do it for long. Now it is so much better with the support from this forum. I hope it is working for you too. :clover:

I also tried 16/8 before 5.2; the former didn't work, the latter has. I just found I was obsessing about "when can I eat?" and felt very controlled and grumpy...not to mention thinking, Oh, I have to stop eating soon, anything else I want before the kitchen closes... At least with 5.2, I only feel that way 2 days a week! :smile:
