Also miss my breakfast as I don't think I can face bacon eggs for breakfast so have been having small pot of yogurt with raspberries not great when it's freezing outside and starving by 10 am

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!
If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

You say you only like peppers, onions, mushrooms and potatoes and then say you had a green salad! So I'm guessing we can add lettuce to the list? Are you sure there's nothing else?
Dr M has said that he has increased his liking for vegetables since starting fasting so perhaps your tastes will change!
Many (most?) of us are finding that having breakfast just makes us hungrier so you might like to try saving all your calories until the evening meal and that way you would be able to have some potatoes.
They say you have to try something you don't like 10 times before you can start to like it, so you might like to try setting yourself a challenge: pick a vegetable that you think would be useful to like and try a little each day for 2 weeks. If you still don't like it, well no harm done, if you do, hurrah! Also, sometimes vegetables taste very different depending on how they are cooked so you might like to investigate different cooking styles for your chosen vegetable.
Another thought is: soup! Do you find you can eat more vegetables if they are whizzed up in a soup? My DS who is rather picky about veggies will eat all sorts if they are hidden in soup! Soup is also much more filling than solid food...could be a win win situation. A small bowl of soup before your salmon and salad would be warming and filling!
Good luck
