For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hello all-Strated diet and going ok, I started breakfast with egg white omelette, won't be having again - it was disgusting and then had black coffee and water through day. I then had tomatoe/chickpea soup that I found recipe for on this forum for dinner.I was quite hungry in waves in day, but feel comfortably full after my soup, really want to stick with this. I just need to research and plan meals well as I don't have smart phone with apps to tell me calorie counts- although do have a laptop so can do it with that.I'm 5f 7i and weigh 73kg so would like to lose 10kg which I was about 5 years ago when used to eat like a horse and never put weight on, but since I hit around 27yrs it's been an uphill struggle as I love my food and don't really exercise although have quite an active job. Wish me luck x kelly

Yes, I agree that researching and planning meals is key. There are lots of great resources in this forum - I hope you enjoy it :-)

The www.fatsecret.co.uk and www.myfitnesspal.com websites have really good calorie counting features.
