Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi, this is my first day too! OK so far, looking forwards to my dinner of salnmon, although Im not as hungry as I thought I would be! :D
Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement, my first day hasn't gone too bad.
I last ate at 8.30 last night and had my 500 calorie meal at 6.30 this evening so fasted for 22 hours, I was hungry but managed to stop the hunger pangs too much by drinking lots of hot water (odd I know but thats my usual drink)the hardest part was whern the kids all came home from school and had rounds of toast .... wow it smelt better than toast has ever smelt :)
Hope today went well for you other newbies and anyone else fasting today
Hi again!, Thank you for that clarification!
I suppose it's exactly as I thought but I'm one
of those people that actually have to be TOLD
it! Oh well, here goes(gulp),I'm starting as from
now. Thanks and I'll be in touch very soon!
Cheers! :o
