Hey,

My basal metabolic rate is somewhere between 1600-1700 calories, I would say weekdays I am having at most 1400 and weekends more near to 2000, is this enough if I am having 2 days a week at 500? Just checking as I don't want undereat and not lose :s

Thanks :)
You need to work out your TDEE - total daily energy expenditure. There are links to calculators in the FAQ section.

Your fast day kcals should be 25% of your TDEE.

Your feast days should average out to your TDEE. Some days will be over and some under, but as long as the 5 days work out at 5 x TDEE, you will be fine.

Thank you for your reply, it's late and I am being really dumb but I went onto the calculator and I'd say I do light exercise as I walk everywhere and get on the kinect now and again, my TDEE is 2223, so 25% of that on a fast day would be? Arghhh :)
Divide by 4 ;-) = 555
Brill :) thank you muchly, going to have another fast day tomorrow :)
