If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi, a sleepless night & I started looking around t'internet about losing weight, found you guys :)

This looks as though it could be just the job for me, but I think I'll wait until I've slept before I add fasting to my poor body (poor work colleagues if they get both at once!) - I'll plan ahead & work out a 500 cal day & then go for it.

Weight loss target 6kg by the end of April - that may be too much to hope for but a goodly way there wouln't be disappointing ....... I've got my 3 year old horse to back in May :) :)

Hi and welcome!

Can I recommend you look at the FAQ first, then, if you haven't already seen it, you can watch the original Horizon programme by Dr Michael Mosley...there is a link in the resources section. You can find some recipe ideas in the recipe section and for inspiration look at some of our inspirational stories in the progress reports section.
