Hi All

I started 5:2 on Sunday with my first fast. Seem to be doing OK so far. My feast days are set at TDEE - 20% (light activity).

Not new to dieting by any means!!! Looking forward to new ideas, and sharing this journey :D
Well, I'm not sure why you set your feed days so low. What makes this diet work for me is the fact I'm only dieting 2 days out of the week. If I had to track every crumb on the feed days as well, I'd give up very very quickly.

But welcome, and good luck!
Hi geecee

You'll find lots of supportive helpful people on here. Hope 5:2 goes well for you x
Hi geecee

Feast days should be TDEE not TDEE-20%. All the calorie restriction should come from the fast days. Of course of you want to go below TDEE on weekdays so you can splurge at weekends that's fine!
