If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

First fast day today. Just made a small veg soup to see me through and planning to eat the rest later with an egg and an apple. Hungry but hopeful that this is something I can do long term. Find counting or dieting every day a chore which is why never been fully successful in past. Pleased to find good site to help me through it!

Definitely counting and dieting every day is not sustainable. Hopefully this WOL will be!

Do check out the Fasting Today thread to chat with people who are currently fasting. The FAQ (link below) or the Frequently Asked Questions board will hopefully answer any questions you have but if not, please do post your questions and we'll try to answer them.

If you haven't already, do register on the Progress Tracker and also look a the forum stats for some pretty graphs and to get an idea of the kind of weight loss to expect!

Hi castleofbones, I'm new too. I found the fasting thread helped me yesterday, other people have so many tips on how to get through.
