If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I had anti- reflux surgery a month ago which has resulted in a welcome weight loss of 17 lbs and still losing weight as I cannot eat properly yet. Having slowly gained weight over a few years for no apparent reason as I ate a healthy diet. I am conscious of the fact that my metabolism may have dropped as I am currently only managing able to eat less than 1000 calories a day and I need to be able to increase this once I can eat normally again. I am interested in using this diet to maintain the weight loss and any suggestions as to how this might help and when I should start it would be appreciated.eg should I start after the current weight loss stops?
Definitely wait until current weight loss stops! You don't know where that will be and so it's best to find out first!
