For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi all, just found this forum and thought I'd join up. I started 5:2 last week and have done 3 fast days so far. Can't tell you how much weight I've lost as my scales are broken, but my jeans feel looser so it must be going in the right direction! :D

Welcome on board!

Its probably a good thing your scales are broken cos its all too easy to get hung up about the numbers! (and I'm as guilty as anyone!)
