new to 5-2 and veggy
18 Mar 2013, 11:43
Hello,

Thinking I am going to start the 5-2 as I have heard of so many people who ahve had sucess with it. I have tried every diet under the sun and when followed most do work so throught I would give this one a go.

Is the diet suitable for veggy's? It appears ideal as I can eat tons of veg and fruit within the calories. Is this correct?

Thanks, Nicci

I don't see why it would be any different than for omnivores. We sometimes eat veg on fast days.

Yes, Im veggie! Eating more quorn these days, especially on fast days.

On fast day i often have quorn sausage (62 cals) with portabello, tomato and red pepper all done on george foreman grill. Quick and easy and very low calorie. Dont like to spend long cooking on fast days! I do lunch and dinner so can still have another meal with decent proportions if mainly veggies. Other meal is often stir fry with a bit of tofu or quorn chunks and lots of ginger and soya sauce.

Good luck on the 5:2....
