my 1st week loss

Ive lost 2.5 lb this week, think I could have lost more ,but have eaten out twice this week and ate what I wanted without thinking about ' diets ' but this is what the 5.2 diet is about,I have generally not felt that hungry on nonfast days,and have been mostly aware of ' do i really want to eat this? ' Definately going to carry on with 5.2 ,good luck to everyone on here, :heart: :like:

Well done anndav,

I just weighed in this morning after my first week, too, and I've lost just about 2lb (something around 1.8 - 2lbs anyway, my scales are a bit temperamental!)

I'm more than happy with that as I had pasta and far too much red wine on Friday night, pizza on Saturday night, roast pork dinner (and pudding!) on Sunday... and I also had a horrid accident mid-week and dislocated & broke some fingers (goodness knows what effect that has on inflammation/water retention in the body, I would think it's at least on a par with muscle damage from heavy weight-lifting, LOL!)

So all in all, any loss is a real bonus for me this week and I'll be continuing with my 2 fast days a week for the foreseeable future. I trust that it's going to help me get my weight back down, slow and steady, without having to feel permanently deprived :smile:
