For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

I have been following the 5:2 plan since Jan 1st and have lost seven pounds. I have found the plan easy to stick to, fast days Monday and Saturday. Strangest thing is i have gone from someone who ate chocolate everyday, all day, to not even thinking about it now.

Yes, it's quite odd how your tastes change. I can't decide whether it's because nothing is banned or because the dependence on sweet/high carb foods is broken. Just had morning coffee with hubby and looked on while he troughed two pieces of Christmas cake without me feeling I wanted any at all, despite it being a feast day!

From your user name, I'm guessing you are not needing to lose much weight?

Its nice to hear from you. Yeah i to watch the kids eat their treats and dont want any.
Don't let the name fool you, its what i would like to be, slim.
Take care and keep up the weight loss on the plan.
