I do circuits 3 times a week so was not going to fast on those days however, want to also run on the treadmill for 45 minutes twice a week but these could be fasting days - is this going to be possible?
Hello Cherryred17
Welcome to the forum.
Lots of people on the board are exercising on fast days. There is a topic running on the type of exercise people do which you might find useful. There are also many knowledgable people too who can probably answer more specific queries.
"to also run on the treadmill for 45 minutes twice a week but these could be fasting days - is this going to be possible?"

Yes absolutely! No problem.
Basically, I would wait until you have adjusted to fasting as you might have headaches and/or be a bit tired until things settle down and then see how you go.

I fasted yesterday, went out for a short bike ride this morning before brekkie then ate lots of food. I will have a small smoothie, do a very energetic class then have tea tomorrow as that's the next fast day. It actually helps really.
I run on fast days, no problem. The only difficulty I've found is running before breakfast on the day after a fast day. I feel weak.
I don't find it any different if its a fast day or a feast day, I do the 30 day shred DVD early morning.
Yes, plenty of extra energy for exercise. In fact, it makes you feel much better to get out and move!
I ride 12 km before breakfast most days.
Two or three days a week, I don't break fast until mid-afternoon!
Why not start by just walking on a fast day, if you feel okay after, then next time go a bit faster etc etc. Think fat burn rather than Cardio?
I find I exersize better when I'm fasting...I do spin, circuits run etc...all no problem...I eat a small snack around 1530...then work out at 1800...then have the rest of my cals after the gym...good luck x
I did a 45 minute cross country hike this morning and then a 1 hr pump class at lunch time- no problems. Last week on my first fast day I did the same and felt abit weedy at the weights class- but that happens sometimes anyway! See how you go and cut yourself some slack of you aren't full steam the first time.
