Hi I'm new here too but have been fasting on and off for a few months now. I have recently re-committed myself to 5:2 and am having good results. My fast days consist of green tea and water until dinner time when I'll have a small 400-500 calorie meal of a protein (chicken, turkey, fish or eggs) and lots of veg either steamed, roasted or stir fried. I avoid starchy foods as these seem to make me hungrier.
On down days I do a lot of training; cardio and weights so I tend to eat several small protein based meals throughout the day and avoid simple carbs.

My diet is a priority in my life, and I try to eat clean as much as possible. I love the 5:2 diet as it seems to compliment my lifestyle.

I would be interested to hear from others with similar diets and lifestyles to mine, as fasting within the bodybuilding/fitness community is a bit of a dirty word!

I'm not sure there are many who are body building as such but there are several members who follow a low carb/primal lifestyle.

There are a lot of discussions on this in the nerdy stuff section!
