On down days I do a lot of training; cardio and weights so I tend to eat several small protein based meals throughout the day and avoid simple carbs.
My diet is a priority in my life, and I try to eat clean as much as possible. I love the 5:2 diet as it seems to compliment my lifestyle.
I would be interested to hear from others with similar diets and lifestyles to mine, as fasting within the bodybuilding/fitness community is a bit of a dirty word!
