Hi everyone.

I am about to embark on my first fasting day tomorrow and while doing some research came across this support/information network, and as I will probably need all the support I can get, I registered.

I believe my "muffin top" look needs to go, I am hoping to lose 10kg with this new way of eating and increasing my exercise. I know it wont happen over night...just as long as it happens.

Fingers crossed....
Welcome to the forums and good luck with your first fast!
Good luck Riso. The beauty of this WOE is that you only have to avoid the foods you like (would I be correct in thinking chocolate?!) for 24 hours at a time and then the next day you can enjoy sensible amounts of all the things you enjoy.
I did notice a lot of people drink lowfat hot chocolate ....so that's what I did when I had a craving for it on a fast day. It was very filling.
I am also a chocaholic and there is always some chocolate in my fridge because if there isn't any in the vicinity I just eat and eat and eat - even things I don't particularly like!
Hello, I started this on Monday and had my fast days on Tuesday and Thursday. I have a chocoholic other half who can eat what he wants and not put on weight boooooo. On Tuesday I had my 500 cals for dinner at 7pm having gone from Monday 7pm with nothing but black coffee and fruit tea. I found it fine apart from feeling weird at 3pm when I just had lots to drink and the feelings went. Later on Tuesday evening I had a cadburys highlights hot chocolate made with water. This curbed my chocolate cravings. I struggle with eating tea and then craving something sweet but this sorted it. Yesterday, my second fast of the week I didn't crave anything sweet and didn't have any weird hunger or vacant feelings lol. Mind you I kept myself busier all day. I even turned down cream cakes when my parents turned up with a large pack. I feel great today, not eaten anything yet despite planning what I was going to scoff during the night I don't a really want any of it now. Hope this helps x
Welcome and all the best. My favourite part of this WOE is that I can do anything for 24 hours! If I can't, then I have bigger problems than my weight! I don't find myself binging on the day after a fast either which is great. I don't need to because I know I can eat whatever I want in moderation. Stay involved with the forum because there is tons of support and recipe sources here.
Hi welcome! I like chocolate too and still eat a bit sometimes on my feasting days but find I am not craving it any more since beginning this diet. Good Luck!
Welcome to club, Riso. Good luck in reaching your goal. I'm a big fan of Choco too. I bought some raw Cocoa powder and have been making low cal goodies and drinks, it helps ...
I love chocolate and even saved 100 cals on my fast days fornancouple of squares in the evening. I lost the 6kgs I wanted to and I think I ate chocolat nearly every day of the time I was on 5:2.
Goog luck!
