2nd fast day tomorrow
27 Mar 2013, 20:16
It's my 2nd day of fasting tomorrow and I was initially thinking to do 3 meals 100/100/300 again but the more I read it seems most people do 1 or 2 meals so was was considering trying 2 meals of 200/300. I'll take a 1/2 ww pita with turkey and cabbage soup for lunch and if gets unbearable I can eat my sandwich early.

I was also wondering if anyone knows if a bit of fiber powder in my water first thing would be helpful.

Hi Bree, sorry, I don't know whether that would help, but wanted to say that it's my second day tomorrow too. I'm going to have two meals- breakfast and dinner. Good luck!

Good luck Bree and Golame! I started out having breakfast and dinner too but now only eat dinner. If you're going to have 2/3 meals, my tip would be to eat as late as possible, there's nothing worse than a miserable hungry evening in my experience! It's much easier to distract yourself from hunger during the day

Thanks Lisa! I didn't have too much trouble with three 100/100/300 meals my first fast but I was at home and slept in so didn't eat breakfast until 9:00am. On work days I usually eat at 6:00am so fear eating only 100 calories so early will only set my hunger in motion and make the day drag out longer until lunch. Work will be harder for me because I usually nibble all day long so I plan on holding off as long as I can.

I tried having 100 cals for lunch once...it made no difference to my hunger at all, so I stuck with just having one meal in the evening.
