Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

hello

Just a quick hello. I'm currently doing alternate days but obviously with a few more cals on the fast day.

Finding it pretty ok, diet is only one day at a time so can cope with it better than suffering every day. Have about 4 stone to lose if I really wanted to get to a BMI of 25 ish but think I would be happy to have a decent hip:waist ratio instead and not be too worried about actual weight.

I'm a great procrastinator so would postpone fast days with 5:2 and also my BP has been dead high so taking a bit of drastic action before the doctor does it for me. :D
