I'm a pretty clean eater and have actually been following Tim Ferris 4 hour body diet for the last 2 years. Anyway, I'm mostly interested in losing some fat and probably only need to drop about 6 pounds. I saw this diet on Good Morning America and decided to give it a try. My question is: Has anyone else been successful eating this way who was within normal body weight but wanted to lose a few pounds of fat? I'm a 52 year old female. (Most people take me for more like 42:). I'm small boned and this extra weight that has snuck up on me last few years is really annoying. I was very active (until I fractured my knee 2 weeks ago), and usually would exercise an average of 4 days per week. Will this eating lifestyle work for my goal of losing fat?

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!
If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Yes, there are/have been several people already with a healthy BMI who have lost weight successfully. Look for Franglaise's post in the maintenance section for one and Ballerina is another that I can think of.

Good luck.
Thank you very much. So how do I find the maintenance section? I'll register in the progress tracker now, today is my 3rd fast day. I have to say I really like this eating plan so far.
I appreciate all the support here!
