Introduce Yourself!

Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!

If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi Marco

I'm sure there's at least one other member here who's in Italy, maybe two. Hopefully they'll say hello when they spot your thread!

Meanwhile we're all friendly here and many of us (well me anyway) very keen on Italian food (hence the weight problem...too much pasta )!

Hi Marco,

I am in Italy but not Italian. I live in Le Marche. Where do you live?

Have told all my italians friends about the diet. They are very interested.

Good luck with it all . It has turned out to be quite easy even with all that lovely italian food

Welcome, Marco! Please tell me what 'milk flakes' are? I have never heard of them! Don't forget that you can have up to 600 calories on your 'fast'days, so plenty of opportunity to have a 'proper' meal. Good luck with your new WOE (Way Of Eating.

Buongiorno Marco! Glad you are doing well on 5:2. It's great that you're finding it easy so far. If you do get hungry make sure you eat your 600 cals on your fast day. May as well make the most of the calories you're allowed!
