Hi there everyone.. I'm new. My name is Andrea and I started the fast diet the last monday and my second day wil be tomorrow thursday... The first day was easy but the next day when I woke up i felt really dizzy and weak... but when I took the breackfast after 30 minutes I felt better. I use to go the Gym 4 days per week and yesterday had more energy.
Anyway just I wonder if this diet could be affect my fertility because I am looking for a baby. I am 35 years old so if somebody knows please reply me.. Thanks a lot...

Hi Andrea and welcome

There have been a couple of forum members asking this question. Briefly we think that if you are overweight then the weight loss will increase your chances of conceiving and that fasting twice a week should not reduce your fertility. More frequent, or longer fasts might reduce fertility and becoming underweight will definitely reduce fertility.

The dizziness on the morning after a fast is not unusual and should improve as your body gets used to having the fast days.

Good luck!
