Another newbie, Hello

Hi
Im a newbie and really looking forward to getting some weight shifted. My quick back story is, im a mum of 2, little one born in May 2011 by c-sec. I have always fell back on slimming world over the years, but this time lost the baby weight then nothing. So ive found myself going nowhere for about the last 12 months and getting really really fed up. So here i am trying and hoping for a boost and that i will get some of this fat shifted !(i have at least 2st to lose to be in a healthy range)
I read the book last night and decided today i would fast. I started the day with 100g scrambled and mushrooms (171 cals) and had what was a suprisingly large salad with quorn for tea (188 cals) I personally didnt find it to hard to fast as i choose a day when i was at work and busy, however i cant beleive that ive done it right as i said my salad was very satisfactory. I stood in the kitchen and weighed out 100g lettuce, quorn and beetroot. Then 50g of cucumber, and 25g of pepper and onion.Does this sound right ?? A little reasurrence from a seasoned pro would be great !

Many thanks :D

Sounds about right to me...vegetables are so low in calories so you can have lots. Quorn is low too. Eggs are about 1 cal per gram, so you can't be far wrong!

Glad you found it easy and, of course, welcome to the forum!
