Hi everyone

I have high hopes for this diet. I've gone from a rather underweight smoker who survived on toast to a non smoker with an interest in food and 2 stones gained to prove it. I eat less than 2000 calories a day, but having been someone who barely ate, the weight has since piled on easily.

I'm looking forward to joining you all. I think I will cope as I used to eat so little, but I will be able to do a little better than toast on a fast say, so it's all good.

Really hoping this will help me head in the right direction. I'd like to lose a stone and hopefully gain the associated health benefits.

I'm a newbie too Paula. Just joined today and done my 1st fasting day which wasn't too bad foodwise, my problem with calories is more because of drinking beer/wine most days. Thought that would be the hardest thing to give up but wasn't as bad as I thought......

Well, I hadn't intended to officially start today, but I haven't actually eaten since 8pm last night and I've been drinking green tea all day. My stomach is rumbling a little but I feel alert and fine other than that. I might have a cup of soup...then again I might hang on till dinner time and have the low cal chilli we planned to have for dinner.
