For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!

Hi! Been using the diet for 3 weeks so far 5lb weight loss , tho this does depend on which day I weigh! Enjoy the contact with other dieters and love the support

Hi. I've been on this just over a week, but started a diet 3 weeks ago. Now lost 5lbs too.
Lots of support and help here, I've found.

Thanks, finding it suits me , tho weight does seem to go up and down. Stick to 1200 p
On feast days , which I have been told is not enough !

It seems that the feast/famine process itself has some influence on the weight loss and on the other benefits, so if you never feast you don't get the same benefit. Of course if your intake on feast days is enough to compensate for the fast days then you won't lose weight either. Just eat normally on feed days (as in the right amount of foods for your weight, height age and activity level, which is around 2000 cals)

Hi Wendy , what is great is the support, do you want to lose much ? Do you eat a lot more on feast days .?

HI Nickyanne - trying to keep my eating under control on non days but generally I have a bit of a blow out the day after a fast day - then reign it in after that. Today i was pleased that I walked away from the green and blacks chocolate bar, disgusted, because it would have been my calorie allowance in its entirity for a fast day........... amazing! I want to lose another stone - that will give me a total loss of 5 stone since jan 2010. How BOUT U?
